Villas New Lanzasuites

Stayed for 10 nights recently. This was our 2nd stay and we enjoyed it on the whole. The apartments/villas are small and compact and are well thought out and equipped. We asked for an even numbered one in phase 2 as we knew they get more morning sun on the terrace and were lucky to get number 14. The pool, hot tub and gardens are kept beautifully clean by the maintenance guys as do housekeeping keep the insides. The welcome pack is extensive and useful. The toiletries and loo roll are not automatically replaced - they are considered part of the welcome pack. This is fine if you're staying for a few nights, but does mean you need to buy for longer stays. (I believe housekeeping may have given us more if we'd asked.) Tania on reception is a great addition to the team, very helpful and great knowledge of the island. A pleasant adult only place in PB - quiet, other than the obvious road noise and handy for shops, restaurants etc.

Agree with others, underwhelming villas, need updating, close to the noisy road , not worth the price. Also bitten by some kind of bugs & got bad service. They are kept clean every day & have the facilities that you need. Gardens are kept nice.

Reading other people’s reviews on here, we were really looking forward to our short break at the Lanzasuites. Unfortunately we were just a little underwhelmed by the place. It wasn’t as fresh and modern and we’d hoped. We received a welcome pack, which was really handy on arrival, however, I’d suggest checking everything first though as our packet of ham was almost a month out of date! We only had a cleaner knock once in our 3 night stay (late afternoon the day before we left), so didn’t get any additional coffees on top of the 2 sachets provided. We also had to buy additional toilet roll. The cart with water and juices other people mentioned was also not out during our stay. The leather sofa in our villa was extremely worn and quite uncomfortable. The bathroom has no extraction and even with window open it never dries fully and leaves a damp smell throughout the villa. We didn’t get any fresh towels during our stay so thankfully we were able to at least dry them outside. There is nowhere to sit and dry your hair and put makeup on in front of a mirror, and as the bathroom mirror is always steamed up after a shower, that isn’t an option. We ran out of hot water twice after a slightly longer shower when washing my hair, which wasn’t ideal. The kitchen had everything you’d need, to the point you have to move everything out of the way to use bench space/plug sockets. I just think for the price we paid we expected a bit more and after previously staying at the adults only section at the Iberostar over the road, we both said we preferred that.
