Elba Lanzarote Royal Village Resort

We have just arrived back from the elba after staying for 1 week. We arrived at the resort at 12.30 pm on the 3rd May, our room was ready, which was a bonus as normally they stated 3 pm... checking in was very quick and efficient. We had a bellboy take our suitcases to the room, which was a slight walk away, but near the rear gate.. The room was amazing, clean, spacious, and everything you require for a room...kettle, iron and ironing board, coffee, and tea. The bathroom was spacious with an amazing walk-in rain shower.. The outside patio is spacious with a sofa and chair and 2 loungers. The restaurant was very spacious and clean... staff are hard working, but personally, I don't think they have enough staff to keep up with clearing tables. My wife and I thought the breakfast was very good with lots of choices.. I really struggled with the evening meal, mostly fish dishes, and pork.. but it might be ok for others.. we went to town mostly for evening meals. Pool area was really nice and lots of sunbeds are around. looked really good for the children to play in the enclosed children's areas. Bar Area This was spacious and clean. the only downside was the queue for the drinks. Alcohol was ok, which is always a bonus. To sum up, we will be visiting the hotel again. But only B&B next time.

Staff are fantastic, apartments clean and spacious and pool area lovely. Restaurant is chaotic and food poor and the bar service is very slow. Require more staff in those area's. This is a 3 star hotel. If they improved the restaurant food and increased staff in the areas needed, this would be a 4 star.
