Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel Resort

I loved this hotel, it is huge which can be impersonal but it still felt to me like my family and I were special to them. Every interaction with staff was pleasant. I visisted with my husband and two boys aged 11 and 14. They really enjoyed playing at the pool and playing a little tennis in the evening. They didn't play the soccer as we all thought it wos too warm for intense sport! I had a birthday while I was there and I was left a delicious card and birthday cake which was so thoughtful and kind. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and again have no complaints, you will not go hungry. In fact, my main complaint leaving Lanzarote was that I was looking forward to eating a bit less when I got home. That's what holidays are for. We are from Ireland and there are a lot of irish holidaymakers here enjoying the sub tropical sunshine. Again, it's been mentioned before but the scramble for the sun loungers was a little undignified. There was always some available just maybe not in a group and maybe not by the child friendly pool. Would I return? Lanzarote has nothing in the way of culture so probably not but if I were to return, i would certainly return to this hotel.

Let’s start with the MANY great things about this hotel! Arrival and check in were perfect. Greeted as soon as we set foot outside the taxi by porter who took bags. Handed Prosecco and seamless check in. Check out - No issues and we loved being given a room to shower & change before flight. The family room (block D) was spotless clean and spacious. With 2 bathrooms. Ideal when travelling with 2 teenagers ! Rooms cleaned daily and fresh towels, turn down service etc We did B&B - the breakfast selection was great with loads of choice and all fresh. Three pools, 2 kids can use with floaties etc and the “quiet” pool where no kids play allowed. - we loved this ! The staff are amazing. Zero complaints Drinks are reasonable and cocktails so nice. Very generous pours ! Amazing location to beach, shops and restaurants. We didn’t use the kids club which does not happen under your nose and you are unaware a kids club throughout the day ! Now some minor negatives ! The hotel looks a little warn and torn. Needs refurb and freshen up. ( wonky toilet seats, wonky door handle , hole in roof on walkway through from family block, arm rest fell off my chair in pool cafe, dated furniture !) The sun beds are far too close together. You cannot get to pool without encroaching on someone else’s lounger personal space! The reserving of sun beds from early morning is very annoying especially when those who reserve them don’t return to use them for hours ! I witnessed smoking on the pool edge. The pool attendants work hard but they need to enforce the pool rules !!! The bins in the pool area are not emptied regularly. Resulting in over flowing rubbish. Not great seeing staff rummage through bins for the plastic cups! Surely can be done more discreetly behind the scenes !!! More regular tidy up needs to happen around pool cafe , table tennis Area. Trash around it most of the day. Overall, despite the very minor negatives my family really loved this hotel. I will come back because of its location and overall how much we enjoyed our stay !!!

Amazing hotel, friendly and welcoming staff. Checkin at separate desks with a welcome drink too and our cases taken to our rooms for us. The little touches added to the stay.. fridge in rooms with free water daily, tea and coffee machine (coffee pods!) Crisps and nuts in room on arrival. Little chocolates on the beds after being made up. Massive rooms, separate walk-in wardrobe rooms. Bathrobes, slippers and a canvas pool bag with flip flops for everyone. Absolutely loved our stay.
