ya en cuanto llegamos nos dimos cuenta de lo mal que sería cuando la recepcionista después de explicarnos todo nos hace publicidad de un ******, luego al llegar a la habitación no teníamos cuna, cuando la pedimos y llegó, la colchoneta estaba súper sucia y al decírselo a la camarera, simplemente le dio la vuelta y le puso las sábanas, luego por la noche como a eso de las 23h escuchamos como en la zona de atrás del hotel tiraban botellas de cristal en el contenedor, vamos, qué descansar, lo que se dice descansar en este hotel poco, todo es ruidoso y eso de que es para niños y familia, para mí no lo fue, la zona de juego abre una hora al día, y ya si cuento la mala calidad del desayuno, es sin duda alguna, una estafa. Por cierto, las fotos están mejor de lo que realmente está el hotel, humedad en el baño, terrazas con mal aspecto y bastidores de las puertas dañados y el colchón encima con un agujero en el centro, dolor de espalda asegurado

Personal  muy amable instalaciones adecuadas para pasar unos días con niños.

Overall amazing hotel with very friendly staff, consistently clean rooms, food was a classic all inclusive where they have something for everyone but did themed food nights however breakfast and snack bar was same ish every day. If you’re looking for a family friendly holiday to adventure out, location isn’t the greatest due to it being close to Veronica’s. With the pool bar, staff are hard working but the waits were very long for drinks and food as it was cooked when you asked for it. Additionally, I think both bars should be open all day to reduce the waiting time. Would come again

5 night winter sun half board break for a bargain price with Jet2 Holidays. I was a bit worried after reading the bad reviews about the noise level in the rooms from the bars in the Veronicas ***** and the food not being good, but was relieved to find that was not the case at all. I emailed the hotel in advance and asked for a quiet room and that is just what we got. Probably the quietest room we've ever had in a hotel - room 253. Apart from that the food could have been a bit warmer (which I think you find with most buffets anyway). There was a good choice of food at breakfast and dinner. Every night was a different theme for dinner. The drinks from the bar and in the restaurant were reasonably priced and the entertainment in the evenings was good. The only thing that wasn't good was the fruit juice machine at breakfast. It was the worst tasting fruit juice from a machine I have ever had at a hotel. The hotel wasn't rowdy at all, despite being over the road from the Veronicas. A lot of the guests at the hotel looked like they were aged 60+. You could always get a sunbed round the pool areas. The kids separate water play area looked excellent, but luckily there were very few kids in the hotel when we stayed last week. Rooms were cleaned daily. Pool towels are available for €15 deposit which you get back when you return the towels at the end of your holiday. If you want to change your towels it's €1 per towel to change. The safe was €2.50 per day. Everything is charged to your room card and you settle the bill on checkout. The spa was very good and they gave us a voucher on check in for 2 for the price of 1 which cost €17 for the 2 of us. We couldn't keep our room on despite leaving at 5pm as the hotel was full, but the free courtesy room was absolutely fine. If I wanted to stay in Playa de las Americas again I would stay at the Hotel Gala. I have actually stayed there before many years ago when it hadn't long been open. The weather was quite cloudy for our first couple of days but at least it didn't rain and was still warm, and when the sun did come out it was hot.

Nice hotel, well positioned, with two main pools plus a kiddies pool and play area. We had a superior room which was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The hotel had a rear entrance leading to the coast road near Veronicas. Our stay was for just one week but would be happy to recommend the hotel. We were on a half board basis and bar and snack purchases were charged to your noom, to be settled at the end of your stay. All meals were buffet style with plenty of choice but the offerings did become a little repetitive. We took advantage of the half board flexibility. Some days we would have lunch in the hotel and venture out for an evening meal.

The hotel is described as 4 star. However based on previous experience of this category of hotel we would say this is more 3 star. The two main reasons for this are 1. The food ,although a good selection, was generally lukewarm apart from items which were cooked to order e.g. omelettes. 2. Our room, which was a club category with sea view ( room 419 ). The overall "finish" left a lot to be desired as you can see in the attached pics. Also the signal on the TV in the room was intermittent going to no service in the middle of a programme. They did send a technician but he couldn't sort it.

We had a great time at Alexandre Hotel Gala. A special thanks goes to the animation team, who all work so hard. My kids absolutely loved them, and they were always so friendly and welcoming. Despite reading some negative reviews about the food before we arrived, we actually had no issues at all and really enjoyed it. The only minor downsides were the sunbed situation. Like many places, you have to get up early to put towels down because everyone else is doing it, but it wasn't enough to ruin the holiday. Also, the kids' club room got very hot in the evening and could really do with some air conditioning. Overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel for a family stay and hope to return one day!
