Villa Mandi Golf Resort

We have just spent the last 14 days here.. do not waste your money! You are not in Las americas it’s Los Cristianos which is a taxi ride away. The rooms are filthy with a foul musky damp smell, cockroach’s in the rooms, the shower floods the whole bathroom which then floods the “kitchenette” . You only get clean towels 4 times a week and the majority of ours was used to mop up the floor! The kitchen tap dribbles out “warm” water the mattress is awful and ROCK hard we took it in turns to sleep on the sofa bed which wasn’t the best but more bearable. When they”clean” the room they simply make the bed and drag a dirty mop round the floor and empty your bin. No surfaces wiped down or mirrors or the shower was not cleaned for the duration of the time. The shower hadn’t been properly cleaned when we arrived the walls were full of fly sh*t and a mouldy ceiling. We had to find a cleaner and ask for our bedding to be changed. Can’t get a sunbed before 9am, the majority of sunbeds were broken. There was not enough umbrella to sunbeds and even then they were broken and wouldn’t stay up. The life guard does not pay attention what’s so ever he sits on his phone all day. There was next to no entertainment / activities in the day time pool areas just repeat water polo which was extremely rushed and timed. The pool bar was not even near the main pool was a huge flight of stairs away. We was all inclusive.. The food was horrible either meat or fish would be cooked with no sauce and then the following day the left over meat would be back again but in a “sauce” and reused again and again. The alcohol was horrid and you had to pay extra money for a cocktail despite being all inclusive. There night time entertainment is inside and consisted of a kids disco at 7:30 (most people were only just getting dinner at this time) was the SAME 2 party songs every single night which lasted about 10 minutes. Then you had to wait until 9:30 for a singer or performance. The bar man / woman would leave the bar to go outside and upstairs to get phone signal and sit on the phone for most of the night. Again you couldn’t get cocktails you had to go out to the bar in the lobby. It’s advertised that you can change money up at reception but they only let you change up a certain amount. Overall never again the staff was rude and spoke to you like you was thick, but if you was Spanish you was treated completely differently!

Great 11 days staying here on a self-catering basis. Staff were polite and helpful. The beds were comfortable. The room towels were replaced frequently and there was adequate kitchen utensils and a good shop on site to buy breakfast items. The air-con was adequate, the pools were clean and we would recommend Villa Mandi if you want to relax and unwind. It is not situated too far from the sea front - 25 minute walk or 5-7 euro in a taxi.

Villa mandi was classed as a 3star plus wouldn't even give it 2stars . Place needs a look of work done at it rooms would all need freshed up. Glad I down granded to bed and breakfast, but if your staying i would go self catering breakfast was rubbish. The worse thing was the smell of **** or Charlie whatever you call it was disgusting you couldn't even sit on your balcony at night time . Plus it is a good 30 minute walk into playa las Americans

IGNORE THE BAD REVIEWS! We've just returned after a week and we had a brilliant time. Rooms were spotless, spacious and modern in design. Beds were comfy, even the pull out bed! Personally, I thought the food was lovely from breakfast to lunch to evening meal. The grounds were always clean and maintained to a high standard. Reps not only got the kids involved in activities during the day but also the adults! Loved it. It is a short distance to the beach but with two young children, we did the 22min walk plenty of times with no issues. If you go all inclusive you have unlimited access to Siam Park and the hotel put on a return shuttle bus daily. This was fantastic however taxi only cost 6 euro to get there. Only issue we had was our room was ground floor directly facing the pool and the kids and other guests used our 'balcony' as a football pitch/goal so we had the football being kicked until late, at our doors. I think staff could have questioned this I agree that kids entertainment should be brought forward. I know kids stay up late on holiday, but with the sun exhausting the kids, it was a little too late. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. Going out of their way to assist guests when they could.

The beds were lovely the rooms always clean and tidy plenty of towels and Hector the wait staff was amazing very friendly and welcoming great with my kids done villa mandi proud just as much as the entertainment lady very lovely to meet them both

Do not come here. Rooms , yes, they are good apart from cockroaches…… Food is so so bad. We bought 400 cigarettes for my dad, on way over and they were stolen from cleaner from our room. The horrible lady manager said ‘no proof then unlucky’. Food is horrendous, same rubbish everyday . We’ve been on holiday for past 8 years and this interests we’ve been on.
