Bungalows Cordial Biarritz

Fantastic experience. The grounds and room were spotless and the pool cleaned every day. We were near the road in room 115 but noise wasn't an issue. Short walk to to Yumbo Centre which has plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. I highly recommend Restarante Centrum for eating out, we went twice in a row. The pool is huge and plenty of sunbeds. The only negative is there are no parasols although there are plenty of trees for shade but I think there should be some parasols around the kids pool area. We ventured towards the beach but it was so hot and felt like a massive trek so we didn't bother. Reception check in was a dream and very informative. Air con is just over 15 Euros per day and we definitely needed it! We stayed in a standard bungalow and the remote control worked both the air con in the bedroom and in the lounge area. There is a small private utility area for hanging clothes and the kitchen is well stocked. There was a bottle of water in the fridge upon our arrival and complimentary toiletries (the lip balm is lovely). There was an issue with our beds not being changed but after I brought this to the attention of reception it was dealt with straight away. I would like to have seen more snack options on their snack bar menu and it would have been great if it opened earlier for drinks (opened at 12:30). They are also card only and we only had cash.

An enjoyable week. Travelled with wife and teenage son via Jet2holidays. Positives 1. Warm reception welcome. 2. Worth having a superior bungalow for free issue air conditioning, sun loungers on terrace, free pool towels. 3. Nice set out bungalow for all needs. 4. Bungalows away from outer perimeter best as there is road noise as other reviews suggest. 5. Cleaners do a wonderful job. 6. Sweets in reception as nice treat! 7. WiFi is very good in all areas 8. Plenty of sunbeds. Slight niggles … 1. Pool is salty not fresh water as said .. 2. Sadly hotel bar does shut at 5pm! 3. Location is a good 10 min walk from beach areas and Yumbo Centre. 4. Pool does need a good scrub! 5. No parasols and very limited shade. All in all it was nice. Fairly ok to park on street with our local hired small car.

Travelled as a family of 3 with a teenager and stayed in a superior bungalow just to the side of the snack bar. We found the whole place perfect for a quiet chilled break. No music playing on the complex which is a big plus so no duff, duff, duff constantly. We found the bungalow well equipped for self catering and the sunloungers on the patio were a definite plus. We had air con included in our package and it was great although we didn't use it a lot in April. The complex is close to everywhere and easy walking distance to the Yumbo and Cita centres. Also the beach is a short walk away but is accessed by stairs at the Hard Rock Cafe. There is a Hyper Dino just round the corner to get all your self catering food and drink. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would definitely go back but only in a superior room again as the road outside does seem noisy if you are right next to it.

What a beautiful place. It was so clean the pool was lovely not crowded at all. The bungalows are kept well and the cleaners done a great job. The staff are very helpful.its good that you get allocated sunbeds to your bungalows so there is no stress of getting up early to put your towels out.

A fabulous self-catering holiday cottage close to shops, restaurants, and beach. Gran Canaria is stunning holiday destination with lovely people, weather, shops, and restaurants. Cordial Biarritz is ideal for our needs and so much better than all-inclusive hotels. The cottage is cleaned daily. Staff are very polite. It is a lovely pool that could do with a better filtration system as there are lots of leaves and dead bugs floating around. First week was fun as balls and inflatables were allowed in the pool. However, some older residents complained, and the management refused to allow any inflables for a short while, but this was soon resumed. The grounds are well maintained and clean. Road noise is a little harsh in the morning, but it's not out in the sticks, so this is to be expected. We will definitely consider revisiting.

This is a beautiful place and we have truley enjoyed our stay here but the hotel is let down with one thing..THE POOL POLICY! ..this is our review. Day 1 we arrived at 11pm and checked in our bungalow which was the furthest away (174) on the corner of a busy road...if you havent upgraded to surperier you will get a bungalow facing the road and its one of the busiest & noisiest roads i have ever heard on any holiday...anyway 1st thing in the morning we went round to reception and asked to be moved which they did straight away we got put into room 124 which was a lot better still on the busy road but noise not as bad. Bungalows are a bit dated but clean and well enquipped for our stay, twice we had cockroaches in our bungalow woke up with one crawling on me that was an awful experience, beware aswell you have to pay for air con which was 15 euros a day which we thought to be a bit expensive we did end up getting it the last few days as the fans on celing done nothing for us. Wifi is good we had no issues with it. No problems with sunloungers, wasnt impressed with the snack bar there was no chips burgers or anything like that on the menu we had breakfast once and didnt find it all that good, hardly anything there was a good half hour before fresh stuff came out not to say this was all the time we didnt go back to try again. BUT HERE GOES WHICH LETS THIS PLACE DOWN... So on Day 3 all the kids werent alowed into the pool with their infaltables or balls we found out older residents had complained as they said they couldnt swim for dodging kids we all complained and the manager came to speak to us all by this point we were all in the pool with inflatables he came to an agreement with us they would let the kids play but we had to be mindfull of the older swimmers that was great but they pointed out that this was temporary and that this hotel dosnt allow inflatables and is against the policy so be aware of this if you choose to come here we wont be back because of this reason we feel this hotel is aimed at adults only and not families. The location of this place is great so many supermarkets around you, the beach and yumbo centre are both near.
