Heavenly tropical hideway, peaceful and quiet Amazing property. We were upgraded to an awesome suite that was gorgeous. Comfortable bed and furnishings, everything you could need in paradise. the grounds and gardens are heavenly. The staff were all very nice and attentive. Would highly recommend if it's in your budget.

Beautiful Stay. Kind Staff. Dream Come True Absolutely beautiful garden and hotel. It felt like a little home away from home. Spacialle and Hector were the nicest staff and made sure we were comfortable the whole time - truly beautiful people. Our room was upgraded to the suite which was super spacious with a kitchenette and walk-in closet. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked wonderfully. My husband who is going through treatment for brain cancer was comfortable the whole time and I didn’t have to worry about him overheating during the hot week. I our stay here was a dream come true and so relaxing. I loved the swinging bench on our porch and the pool area was so gorgeous. They also helped arrange our pick up from LIR. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel. The only thing I would mention is there are lots of steps, so it’s not handicap compatible in some areas, but my husband is still able to walk so we did just fine. Food is great - the complimentary breakfast was delicious. Location is pretty central to all the good stuff in Nosara. Stay here, you won’t regret it! Endlessly grateful for this beautiful place and time spent with my husband.

The rooms are small but quite nice if a bit rustic, but the food is very average and it’s not great value for money. First the good - the rooms are bright and airy and have a nice beach vibe, although it’s all quite old and feels a little run down. The property is very jungly so you really feel like you’re staying in the rainforest. The reception staff are also very nice and helpful. Cleaning staff were also lovely. Pool is also nice and because there are not lots of rooms it’s never busy despite the fact we were there for Christmas week and they were full. Then the bad - when the sun doesn’t shine, there’s no hot water! Apparently it’s provided by solar panels on the roof of each cottage so no sun = no hot water. The restaurant is also pretty poor. Breakfast was included but there’s no buffet and you only get filter coffee, a glass of orange juice, and one dish which is a rather stingy portion. As an example we ended up having an argument with them because an order of French toast was literally just one piece of toast. For an adult with no buffet to fill up on that seems very mean. They did say they could do another piece for an extra $5 but when you’re paying over $500/night for a room that just seems a silly and trivial thing to argue about with your guests. The service in the restaurant was also absolutely hopeless. Every single day they would forget at least one persons order, or get it wrong, or it would just take ages. We stayed there for a full week and by the end we were tearing our hair out with frustration. I started wondering if our server was actually stoned as she moved so slowly. The restaurant really needs a new manager and the staff a big kick in the ass. Overall my summary is that this is a nice property which could be soooo much better with some small improvements and some better restaurant staff.

Gorgeous!! We kicked off our honeymoon here, and loved it! The property is stunning, nestled in nature that makes it feel really private and lush. We loved the proximity to the beach, too (6ish minute walk) and nearby restaurants and bars. Breakfast was also incredible - one of the best I’ve ever had!

Very nice property /grouds but have reached out to property several time with no response had many ant bites and bug bites advise property and no response still trying to reach property for my invoice and no one has responded to me

What a great find! This hotel has a wide variety of rooms that should suit any family or friend group. The gardens, pool and common spaces are beautiful and relaxing. The on-site restaurant is delicious and the staff is friendly and helpful. I’m so glad we chose Hotel Guiones, it was wonderful!
