Ramada Suites by Wyndham the Straits Johor Bahru

My husband and I have stayed here dozen times everytime we come JB and we liked it here. But this is the first time I’m writing a review as this is our favorite room. Please keep up with your housekeeping standard especially now property is under Ramada by Wyndham multinational hotel chain. Toilet bowl stain in Room 1002 is horrible!!! (See photo attached) Thank you.

Everything was clean. Loved the view from the balcony. One remote control for master bedroom aircon isnt working but the other room remote works. Room service threw away a disposable towel accidentally when they shouldnt. However, for thr price of the room, most things were still acceptable.

15 mins drive away from town centre, it’s a quiet area to stay with a breathtaking scenery from the window view of your room up on the 21st floor. Great if you have a car to zip around. There is a Joe’s grocery, a local mini market that stocks a astoundingly comprehensive inventory for its unassuming size and first impressions. A few flats and apartments are also nearby. Room is clean and huge with a view of the kampung surroundings where roosters crow below but it didn’t affect me at all like it did to some reviewers. Kitchen area complete with cups, plates, microwave oven, induction cooker, fridge, jug, coffee and tea facilities. Living area has 4 seater sofa and TV well distanced from kitchen. Room is separated from living area. It’s a huge unit with a curtained window to the walkway just like a condo unit. Toilet is clean and huge with strong water pressure and heater. Toiletries are provided in the room although there is no hair dryer. Covered car park is provided in a 2 storey car park levels secured by a security guard at ground level. Wonderful place. Breakfast provided at $20 per pax.

The hotel offers a spacious room and a gym, which are definite plus points. It’s also quite peaceful, making it a good place to rest. However, the location is not very convenient, and the breakfast was just average. Overall, it’s a decent stay if you value quietness and space over easy access to attractions.

The view is relaxing and the place is simple and cozy at the same time. It provides us comfort during our stay and its near to the centre of Jb.

Amazing! Spacious and well-equipped room with good view. Everything was clean and location was convenient, walking distance to a number of famous eateries. TV signal was a bit spotty and you had to adjust the antenna but otherwise everything else was awesome. Air conditioning was very efficient and strong
