Stayed with my wife in May 2019. We stayed in one fo the first floor rooms with a private pool. The room was phenomenal and beyond what we expected. The service from Martina, the front desk staff was wonderful with her helping whenever we needed and even cooking us breakfast in the mornings. The room is highly automated and run from an iPad. You can control mood lighting, humidity, temperature and the blinds. Layout of the room is great and was more than comfortable for us for 4 nights. We honestly wish we could have stayed longer. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job ensuring that everything was really clean as well as picked up and the minibar restocked daily. They even stayed late when we couldnt get ourselves out of bed in the morning. The rooftop pool was under construction when we were there, but we ended up going to the beach instead. We did go up to the rooftop for breakfast 2 of the 4 days and the food was fantastic, a great mix of local and international cuisines prepared basically just for us. This hotel only has 5 rooms (hence the name) so all of the service feels tailored just to you. The only complaint that I have is that the in room pool had a cloudy white substance floating around the bottom of the pool. While enjoying the pool, I couldn't help but think about it being the remnant of the last couple who utilized the in-room pool. It may have been standard pool gunk, but I'd recommend the owners get a better filtration system or at least skim out the pool between guests to prevent this issue. Otherwise the stay was fantastic. We absolutely loved Polignano and will definitely be returning.

Great room in a great location. The highlights are : the host, Rossella, always kind, smiling and keen on supporting us to find the best places to visits and restaurants to try the typical Apulia foods and the service as the room was super clean. Thanks for the fantastic staying.

Run away! The place looks great on pictures. They have a good web. The owner is nice. That is it for the positives. You should select this place only if you hate to sleep. We had two rooms. The room on the top floor had a water tank for the buildings around above our heads. The tank was noisy. Whenever somebody used water in the buildings, you had a sound like flashing toilet. We had that perhaps every 15 minutes through the night. Dreadfull. The blanket and pillow were not good either. The lovely terrace was not enough to remedy the pain. Our friends had a room on the ground floor with a swimming pool in the badroom. The windows had little noise insulation. It was noisy. They were not excited about the swimming pool either. First, you smell the chlorine desinfection through the night. Second, you are scared, when you go to bathroom at night, you fall into the pool. We slept on the plane…

We were first time in apartment during our holidays. It was great experience with Rosella and her hospitality. She was very kind and helpful. Apartment was very clean and comfy. Also design was amazing. It looks as it was renewed recently. Big bathroom & shower. Very comfortable beds. Great view from the roof (with small pool). Highly recommended.

Excellent service. Clean, quiet, classy. Good location. The pool on the top floor is not in use. (And has not been for many years … construction problems … ). And the B&B doesn’t offer breakfast. Instead, they give you a voucher for a café close by - having breakfast on the roof terrasse would have been much nicer. So the name is clearly misleading. The two rooms on the ground floor apparently have a pool IN the room, but if you have the room on the top floor (as we did) you do not have access to a pool. Why do we nevertheless give a good rating ? Rosella who looks after the house is exceptionally nice and helpful. She moved her car to give us her prime parking spot ! And she is extremely quick and responsive to messages.
