Part of the Western Cape Chess Team stayed at Eskulaap. Francois and his team were brilliant in hosting us. They went out of their way to accommodate dietary preferences, assisted with requests, delivered our lunch at our playing hall 35km away. Our rooms were clean. The food was delicious. I would recommend Eskulaap for groups every day of the week! Thank you

The unit was perfect, even for a wheelchair user, as I am in a wheelchair myself. I was allocated 11A&B. There was no step on the entrance door or within the unit, which made it easy for me to maneuver around.

Nice budget place
It’s a lovely budget place can’t faulty it at all. Beautiful garden with a pool and must be family friendly too

Xmas Eskulaap
We had an amazing time. We only slept there as we were visiting family in Bendor. We didn’t even switch on the TV. The beds are comfortable. The service was excellent in the 5 days we stayed there. The gardens are looking a little sad and the pools are green - I do understand that there is a water issue in the area.

It is a very nice place and very safe. The only problem we experenciend during our 2 night stay is that the aircon in our room was not working. The ceiling fan was not working and some of the rooms did not have aircon or fans so we had to swopped. So it is just a few upgrades. and the pool was green

My hotel had bad odor throughout. Stained pillowcases. I walked down to the reception to request for an iron. I waited for 20 minutes because someone was still using it. They then came to say that the person who was using it is done, I must go out again to sign for it. I did, the Iron was in a terrible condition with sellotapes all over it.

Linen too small for bed. Bed uncomfortable and we did not have a single night of good sleep. Frequently without water. Just enough hot water for one person to shower. Mould on the bathroom ceiling. A single, difficult to access, power outlet for three appliances (Kettle, micro wave and toaster.) No utencils, cutlery or cookware on arival. We had to fetch it from reception ourselves. We had to wash everything before we could use it. The fridge had almost none of it shelves and even the one the switched it out with were missing some sgelves. The room itself was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. They were trying their best to make us feel welcome and accommodate our needs.

The linen and the carpet had a terrible smell. Only two small cups and two small glasses provided in the room. No shower gel and shampoo provided. The air conditioner made a lot of noise, not heating up the room.
