Premier Inn Poole North

We needed the bins to be changed and the floor to be hoovered on Monday. I went to the reception around 9:30 AM and pressed the button several times, but it seemed everyone was busy serving breakfast, so we left and returned around 3 PM. We spoke to a female staff member, who said it was okay, but advised that next time we should inform them before midday. However, nothing was done on Monday. The next morning, my husband went to reception to request room service and was told we just needed to put the sign out, which we did. Despite this, the bins were still not changed and the room was not hoovered on Tuesday. My husband then went back to speak with the staff again, and was handed a bin bag to empty the bins himself. He had to return to reception to get additional bin bags so we could change them ourselves. The room still wasn’t hoovered. Additionally, one of the breakfast staff (a lady with short hair) wasn’t very friendly. She was pleasant at first, but her attitude changed noticeably when we asked to sit at the round table near the toilets.

Stayed here recently just for the one night. The room was ok, although would have preferred a premier plus room but they are not available at this particular hotel. One positive of the room was the air con; this worked well although I would prefer if it could be set at a lower temp than 19C which seems to be the default minimum at Premier Inn hotels. Despite the hotel being busy, the room was very quiet which is a big plus. Another positive for this particular hotel is the free car park at the front. Whilst this is on a first come first served basis, the car park is a good size and there was still several spaces, despite it being busy at the hotel. The restaurant and bar areas are nicely presented and the food of a good standard given the price. As per an earlier review from another poster, breakfast service was a bit of a disaster. They were turning away guests who had not booked a meal deal; it seems rather bizarre for someone to stay at a hotel but not be able to get breakfast in the morning. We had however booked the meal deal so were able to get a table, but trying to get any cooked food was chaotic. There was a line of guests waiting for hot food to be brought out as all trays were empty. As soon as food did get brought out, it disappeared again just as quickly due to the number of people waiting. Overall, the hotel is fine and provides what you would expect from a Premier Inn, they just need to sort out whatever is causing the issues with service at breakfast.

Great hotel. Excellent location for visiting area. Handy for loads of places. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms big and comfortable. Bar and dining area nice and all the serving staff were great. Can't fault it and will definitely go back.

This is the second time we hae stayed at this hotel. The modrrnised restaurant is a welcome improvement. All the staff were very friendly and all those we saw were helpful, from the room cleaning to the manager. Luckily, the automated check in wasn't working so we dealt with a human! Prior to arrival, we e mailed to reserve a room on the top floor away from the lifts as we are botrh light sleepers. We were allocated room 338 which was ideal, no noise and overlooking the car park. We stayed 4 nights to explore Dorset. There are convenience shops within walking distance. We made use of the meal deal - evening meal and breakfast. Both were lovely. We will be back again.

Been here 4 weeks and i honestly can't fault anything.clean rooms lovely bar Staff are so helpful and always polite and friendly and great food and always serve a good Guinness thank you guys and look forward to the next 2 weeks staying with you I would definitely recommend any business to consider staying here you will definitely not be disappointed

Super friendly staff , very helpful and more than happy to assist whenever required. Have spent a few weeks at this premier inn while working away and the staff have made me feel very comfortable. Food is very nice and they have a good selection of drinks at the bar. Beds are also very comfortable and the rooms were very clean.
