Apartment, large, clean room, has cooking equipment, electric stove, convenient bathroom, clean, spacious area. Friendly staff From the hotel, you can walk to the center about 2 km. The accommodation has parking and trees, beautiful views of the surrounding area, good value, inexpensive price.

We stayed in these apartments with the family for two weeks. First of all, it needs to be said that this is definitely NOT a 4 star accomodation as advertised. The entire resort is a bit past its best days and it would certainly benefit from refurbishment. Apart from that, however, everything else is fine. The appartments are not the largest but the layout is nice and all have balcony or patio (you need the mosquito repellent to use those as the mosquito infestation in the area is enormous - like pretty much every area in the Mediterranean these days), all have fridge, air conditioning (by way of central airconditioning unit in the resort and then fancoils in each room of the appartment which is even better solution than classical split A/C, although a bit noisy at times) and equipped kitchinette (microwave, sink, four burner stove, electric kettle and cutlery). The pebbled beach is REALLY close, surrounded by a nice pine forest which provides shade in hot summer days and there is also plenty to do in the beach area - tennis, minigolf, boat rental, bike rental, excursions, you name it. Poreč town center is about half an hour walk. There is also a half board option at Hotel Mediteran nearby which I can only recommend (subject to separate review). Overall, despite the interior of the apartments being a bit dated, this is a very nice place for a summer holiday with the family, not to mention quite favorable pricing (less than the largest competitor in Poreč).

As a family of 3 (2 adults and 16 year old) and we stayed in a 2 bedroomed apartment. The apartment itself was a little tired in places but it was clean and generously sized though the kitchen area did feel a little cramped. This was fine for us as we ate out every night the week we were there. The balcony was quite small in comparison but it was ok. The wifi was excellent and there were air conditioning units in the main area and both bedrooms. Small bathroom but functional. We were informed (via Jet2) that they only clean the rooms upon request and this service is chargeable so I opted to just take some anti bac wipes and keep it clean myself. The towels were changed every day, plenty of loo roll and the bins were also emptied which were the main things. The pool area is lovely and there isn't the mad rush to reserve, though we opted to sit down by the sea as far cooler and much nicer. You can get a clean pool towel every day (and take this with you to the beach) so this is a really welcome service and free as long as you return your pool card at the end of the stay. Yes, there are lots of steps but unless you are really restricted in mobility, they were fine. Sunbed hire by the sea is 6 euro's per bed, per day - pretty reasonable (you just pay the life guard who will come round at some point) - would recommend, the rocks aren't always that comfy unless you are able to take something to lay on other than a towel. The other thing to mention, the best restaurant we found was the one at the far end of the beach (if you were to look towards Porec) - the one near the cafe bar didn't take card so just make sure you have lots of euro's with you as some places prefer cash. The shops on site are well stocked - there are 2, a slightly bigger Lito at the bottom of the hill nearer the sea. Very expensive, but its convenient and if you just need basic bits, then its absolutely fine. If you've hired a car, then of course it would make sense to find a bigger supermarket. We didn't take the mini train into Porec but opted to walk instead as it was a really, really beautiful walk along the sea front into the town - about 1.2miles. Good for the old step count ;) Porec itself is beautiful especially the old town - gorgeous little streets, lots of shops, good food with lots and lots of choice. We loved it there and never got bored wandering around of an evening. Thoroughly recommend 'Niki's' pasta restaurant tucked away in one of the little courtyards - best home made pasta I've ever had. Gutted we found it on the last night as we would've gone more than once! We took a ferry trip (pre-booked directly with Direct Ferries) to Venice for the day which is very efficiently run by Kompas and easy to locate in Porec harbour. Pleasant 3 hour crossing and plenty of time in Venice. They do sell you additional guided tours but we decided to explore the city ourselves but we did opt for the water taxi back to the ferry but felt in hindsight, this was

Nice accomodation with friendly staff. Our nearly 6 years old daughter loved team of animators from Slovakia and Croatia (Dominika, Klara and Lukas). She played often games with them and every morning looking forward to meeting them again.

We stayed in a 2 bedroomed apartment. It was a good space with room for us all, good cooking facilities, with kettle and toastie maker as well as plenty of cutlery, plates, cups etc. When well arrived ot was around midday we were told by reception our room wasn't ready and we needed to wait for an hour and a half, which was a little disappointing as we wanted to get on with our day.. We had a walk around to get our bearings, there's a shop on the site which opened 8 till 2.30pm, it's a small shop with minimal stock, a few baked items and some fresh fruit etc, the chap that works in there was pleasant enough. There was a small restaurant which said it opened 10 till 10 when we arrived, this changed during our stay to 12 till 10pm. We were told by all we were visiting out of season so lots of things weren't open so the accommodation site felt a bit lack lustre. The pool area was a good size, but we had mainly rain so didn't get much use out of it. It's about 25 minutes walk to Porec from the site, there is a land train which is 4 euro is each, a nice run to be fair, there are bars and places to eat along the way but most were closed until around June we were told. We were given fresh towel every day, we tried to decline them but the lady had no idea what we were saying so we just kept getting them and loo rolls.

It is a beautiful beachfront location close to the city. The apartments are well-maintained and have daily room service. I highly recommend it, especially after the holiday season.

I decided to write a review as prior to going I was puzzled why there were hardly any recent ones. That I believe is simply to do with the fact that English tourists are definitely in the minority. It is mainly, German, Slovenian and various others. This did not impact negatively on our holiday at all. All reception and entertainment staff can speak English. We arrived around lunchtime and were not able to check in until around 2.30pm so retrieved shorts from our case and got changed in the toilets and went for food and a cold beer to pass time. Prepare a quick change easily accessible if you arrive early. All facilities are immaculately clean. Accommodation review will not apply to many as we were located in Villa Antonia which is the central yellow building highlighted in many of the pictures. I believe there are only 3 apartments in the villa. In keeping with the look and authenticity of the villa these are furnished in an old but beautiful style. Carpeted, large wooden wardrobes, sitting room kitchen and the most magnificent grand balcony. I imagine other apartments will be modern. We had aircon. Kitchen was very small but fine for light snacks. Noticeable observations; it would be nice to have a few more hangers and a couple of trouser ones; We never saw our maid but our bins were emptied regularly and we were supplied with more towels than we could use. The towels were placed on our sofa along with bedding and realised that the maid doesn't clean the room or change the bed during your stay but you can change it yourself. I like to keep things tidy wherever I go so it was fine and not intrusive; This is only applicable to Villa Antonia, it has the most spectacular and huge balcony to the rear, amazing views, it's stunning BUT this balcony is shared with the apartment next door. We were fortunate to have two lots of good neighbours although we rarely crossed paths and could communicate. The day before we left a family we could not communicate with arrived and one morning I was about to go on the balcony when I noticed our neighbour doing her yoga so I preferred to give her space as would have felt intrusive. The balcony is so big it could easily have a sympathetic divider, some tall potted plants or trellis. The entire area is beautiful, clean and lovely. Yes, there are steps, find the more direct route to Porec instead of the coastal route if you are walking it cuts a good 10-15 mins off. Several restaurants within easy walking distance, loads in Porec which is wonderful. It is an early closing area, no late night drinking parties. We had an evening in Porec and arrived back around midnight and the bar and everywhere is closed up. If you want late nights just go to the town. There is security you feel very safe. No rush for sunbeds and plentiful. I would definitely recommend this property if you enjoy having a walk or bike ride. You enjoy a few drinks and food it's perfect.

We stayed here for 11 nights. Upon arrival unfortunately the room was not available but then it was an early flight from Gatwick and we had landed at about 8:30 and got to resort at 9:30am so expected. The appartments that we were allocated were in a block just left of reception and down the steps. There was a handy golf buggy that was able to take us plus luggage part of the way then there was about 20 steps to go up. THERE ARE A LOT OF STEPS! so please bear in mind if you have limited mobility. Appartment: We had a one bedroom appartment. The kitchen has limited facilities: 2 ring hob and microwave, FridgeFreezer and that's it! no toaster no kettle (can get upon request). The room does have a safe and this is payable at €3 per day. The bedroom had a lovely balcony and there was also a balcony off the lounge with lovely views across the forest and towards the sea. The lounge has a large sofa dinning table and a wardrobe so in all you have two wardrobes. Towels are fresh daily but if you are like us and you don't require just leave them in view then you won't be unindated with them. Sheets you get clean sheets delivered every three days again if their not dirty why change. Bins were emptied daily. THERE IS NO CLEANING DONE BY THE CLEANING STAFF UNLESS REQUESTED AT AN EXTRA CHARGE. For us we tend to keep faily tidy so not a problem. There is an aircon unit in the lounge can be a bit noisy. POOL: No need for you to take a pool towel. You are handed a towel card when you check in and this can be exchanged for towels. Pool is freeezing! but fine once your in - its the getting in! The pool depth is from 1m35 to 1m10 so most can stand. There is a childs pool also. Remember you are self catering so you are aloud your own drinks and food etc around the pool. No glass. Resturant: Great food opens around noon. Large beer €4.50 bottle of wine €15 takeaway ice cream cone €2. Large portions, there is limit kids menu varied menu for adults. Supermarket: By reception not a great selection but handy. Supermarket at the bottom of the hill again not a great selection. These are both more expensive than the Spar in Porec Transport: The best way to get to Porec is via the tourist train. This can be picked up at the bottom of the hill by the Lito supermarket. It was €4 per person each way there is a time table in reception (take a photo). It can get a bit busy. The train also goes to the Zelena Resort definately worth a visit- lots of resturants and little coves for swimming and a few shops. Bikes can be rented from various points but can be expensive if you plan doing this each day. You can walk which is lovely through the forest takes about 35-40 minutes. Sea: Remember your watershoes as the sea is only accessible via stoney beaches or via ladders from the land edges. We enjoy'd our time here very peaceful although there is night life at the bottom of the hill and the resturant next to the pool can get quite jolly! Would recommend.

First the obvious. It's on a massive hill, so yes there are steep slopes and stairs. I'm fat, I managed it! This is one of the best places we've stayed. The apartment was lovely, a little tired but mega Aircon which was a life saver in 36 degree heat! No loud neighbours and a lovely safe feel across the whole complex. The pool at the top of the hill was gorgeous. Lovely breeze and heated pool. Nightmare getting loungers, often lots saved with towels with no one to be seen. But we just started coming later and it was fine then. Beaches at the bottom of the hill were like a dream. The little stony cove was our favourite and we often paid for loungers just for extra comfort but it was fine without if you didn't mind a stony bum. The water was clear but bring water shoes, it's very rocky. We got half board at the neighbouring hotel (10 mins walk) and it was delicious. Drinks were included over the summer. Nice beer on tap and red and white wine alongside softs too. The food was great. Lots of grilled meat and fish and even some pizza for the pickier eaters or those just needing a carb fix. All round this was an absolute dream trip for us. My knees are done in from the stairs but we loved it and will definitely return if we come back to the area. Watch out for the land trains though. They fly around so fast and wouldn't have a chance of stopping if someone ran out into the road!
