Central Plaza Port Douglas

Where to start – there are so many excellent elements to this apartment. Firstly, it is in a great location, able to walk to the beach and to the shops and restaurants. We had a hire car but did not use it in town at all as we love to walk everywhere. Secondly, the managers are so friendly, helpful and accommodating which made our weeklong stay very pleasant. We had a three bedroom renovated apartment for our family of two adults and three teenage boys. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. The beds were great, we had a full-size fridge & appliance which were great for self catering, a washing machine and lots of room for everyone to relax. We had undercover parking on site which was great to be able to park in shade on hot days. Our apartment had a lovely outdoor area that was private and secure. The apartment worked brilliantly and was used non-stop during the day, we relied on fans at night (our preference) and stayed cool. And then we come to the pool – it was a highlight of our stay! Large, clean, with lovely tropical plants around it, it was such a great place to cool off on a hot day and even to have a swim after dinner as it is open until 930pm. The spa was slightly warmer and lovely to sit in when the bubbles were running. Highly recommend Central for an affordable, comfortable apartment close to everything that you need. We would definitely stay again.

Had a great stay here. Accessible parking. Quick response on any and all questions. Very clean and spacious accommodations. Close walking distance to all amenities, shops, restaurants and beaches! Would stay here again.

Pleasant stay Great location, parking was easy, pool facilities were tidy, bed was comfortable enough and cooking facilities were adequate. We did have to wait for our apartment as there was a handyman fixing leaking taps. Floors didn’t seem to have been vacuumed but the rest of the apartment seemed clean. Quiet part of town. Overall a pleasant stay

A good choice. These are slightly older apartments kept very clean and in good condition. Its about a 1km walk to town. The apartment is spacious. Definately good value.

The apartment was spacious and weel furnished and equipped. Really nice pool area with nice al fresco bbq.

Really friendly and knowledgeable owners with plenty of time for a chat to recommend local gems. Apartment was well stocked with utensils/pans/dinnerware. Living area spacious and comfortable for down time and the bed was very comfortable.
