Port St Johns River Lodge

My partner and I stayed at the River Lodge while we dived the Sardine Run with Offshore Africa. The Lodge was fantastic - it is simple accommodation, but provides everything you need as a base to explore this awesome part of the world. The Lodge hosts a lot of guests doing the Sardine Run, so if this is you, definitely consider booking here. They have a drying room for wetsuits, and a jetty right at the accommodation, making the logistics so easy. The rooms are cosy and the showers are steaming hot. There is a generator for load shedding. The food was good. The staff were exceptional - so friendly, so helpful, a real community vibe. The Lodge is affected by the challenging network and power connection that plagues the area, but nobody is immune. It's simply part of travelling in the Eastern Cape. The incredible beauty of the area makes up for it all, promise. When we come for the run again, we will definitely be staying here! Thank you River Lodge!

wow ' one of the best . what a location , right on the beach front . great rooms , great . breakfast very nice dinner , great service , very nice relaxing holyday place . only wi fi was not great .
