The Grand Hotel

We held our mums wake at The Grand Hotel and Chris the manager couldn't do enough for us. The buffet was stunning with plenty of food. The room was a lovely size for the amount of people who came. I would highly recommend the Grand Hotel for a function.

I was recently there for a function, the decor is lovely and the staff were very friendly and polite. The manager Chris was very helpful and catered to everyone’s needs. The food was lovely and was replenished frequently. The function room lead to an out door area which was really nice. Would definitely recommend for a function of any sort

I would highly recommend The Grand in Port Talbot for a function. The event was beautifully organized and great value for money. The buffet had a wide variety of fresh, well presented dishes for all tastes and dietary needs. All staff were professional, welcoming and attentive, giving a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Thank you.

Excellent food & service. We visited the hotel for a party held in the function room, the room was beautifully decorated and it led onto an outdoor terrace perfect with the westher we had. Nothing was too much trouble, staff were great and so was the buffer selection

Convenient for train, bus and taxis. The staff were efficient, and helpful. The hotel was clean. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided but there was no resteraunt. Music provided for a function on the ground floor could be heard in the bedroom.

My review is really not about a stay at the hotel it is about our experience when we booked a function at the hotel. From the time we made the enquiry until we left the function the staff were there. Excellent customer service from Chris and his staff. The room was amazing and the buffet was fantastic, I cannot recommend it enough. The food was over and above what we could have imagined! Honestly our guests were so impressed with the quality and variety offered. Also we were able to access the room before hand to decorate the room the way we wanted it, nothing was too much trouble. Although I didn’t stay at the hotel there were quite a few of our guests who did and they all said the same thing that the rooms and staff were excellent. I would definitely recommend The Grand Hotel to anyone looking for a place to hold a function it was just perfect! Only criticism was that it was a christening and there were no baby changing facilities, this is something that can be sorted I’m sure!
