My son was getting married in Porterville PA. Our future daughter in law suggested The Bluethistle and we are happy that she did. It was a few minutes from the venue and was extremely comfortable, clean and welcoming. Our hosts Tom and Kaye were gracious and friendly and served amazing breakfasts. We would definitely return !!

Tom and Kaye are the best hosts, yummy breakfasts. The house has so much charm and character. The bed was so comfy, I melted and the décor is beautiful. I am so glad I pre booked my room for 2023. I cannot wait to see you both!

Kaye and Tom were lovely hosts who live next door and the B&B itself was delightful. I stayed in the first floor room (Harp) and it was a restful and perfectly appointed room. The lovely living room has plenty of seating and even a rather difficult jigsaw puzzle to make some progress on. The breakfast served each morning is delicious and there is a tea/coffee station available throughout the day. Kaye prepared a lovely dip/chips for an afternoon snack and also went so far as to track me down after I left the B&B to return a left item. Highly recommend!

Rose and i had a lovely and very relaxing retreat time this week at Bluethistle. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet time and delicious snacks and breakfast. We are already planning to return. There are cute shops in the area as well as relaxing dining options. Also very close to other attractions including hiking etc.

We stayed just one night at the Blue Thistle during 4th of July weekend, and it was great! We weren’t sure of plans for the day, and Tom and Kaye were super accommodating with our check-in time. They’re extremely responsive and made getting settle easy. Breakfast was fantastic - definitely recommend if you’re ever in the area!!

Kaye and Tom were great hosts. We had the opportunity to stay in both the upstairs and first floor rooms. Both were equally comfortable and very clean. The homemade breakfasts were very good, included a selection of juices, fresh fruit, and interesting conversation. The town is very quaint and we had tasty meals at the local restaurants recommended by Kaye. There is easy access to Route 79. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will try to stay there again when visiting family.
