Super séjour avec un très bon accueil et des chambres vraiment agréables à vivre

The whole hotel area was spotless not just our apartment. Never had as many clean towel changes or room cleaned and beds made!!. All the cleaners were lovely and a shout out to Eduardo the barman as he was very helpful with any questions we asked as he spoke very good English. Also the ladies and young man who was serving and making food/snacks, which were very tasty actually. The pool area was always kept tidy with plenty of new sun loungers, plus table and chairs if eating outside. The free shuttle bus was handy into Praia Da Rocha or Portimao, maybe a couple of extra bus runs would be really helpful, just a suggestion. A charge for using the safe plus returnable deposit for the safe key was €70 , a bit expensive for piece of mind, though that is your choice. Just booked again for next October, requested the same room, so finger's crossed it's available. Would definitely recommend the hotel, but, each to their own.

Requested a ground floor room and was given one on the 7th floor! Studio room was not a bad size but the balcony was tiny and wasn’t clean when we arrived and didn’t get cleaned the whole 10 nights we were there. Basic room cleaning mostly making the bed and emptying the bins. Bathroom mirror wasn’t cleaned the whole time we were there and floors felt dirty. One tea towel for the whole 10 days! Friendly staff,nice sun loungers,pool small but adequate. Bar prices were reasonable.Prais da Rocha is lovely but wouldn’t stay here again due to distance from bars,restaurants etc. Wi-Fi hit and miss. Courtesy bus to beach area and Portimao a bonus

I’m not sure why this place has been rated as a 2 star hotel. It by far exceeds a 2 star. The apartments were spacious and clean, they even had Netflix and prime on the TV. Cleaners came in every day to clean the room. The dining l/bar area is very modern, and food at the hotel is reasonably priced. The hotel staff are lovely and friendly. Cons- . There isn’t much in the direct vicinity. There is however a bar/restaurant right near the hotel, and the food is lovely! Also reasonably priced. The seafront and supermarkets are in walking distance, but it’s not a very nice walk. We used uber to get around. Highly recommend using Ubers as a form of transport, although the hotel does put on a shuttle bus a couple of times a day. There is a lot of noise from dogs on a night, from The surrounding residents.

Positives. * staff are lovely * daily free bus service to the beach and town * spacious room * sunbeds with face shield were really good. * they did provide a mattress topper when I asked about a softer mattress. * drinks prices were really reasonable for a Hotel (€3.50 for a beer) Negatives * room smelled of what I am unsure. May have been legacy smoke or just the old wood that remained (refurb didn’t include the wardrobe) but it was a distinctive unpleasant odour each time we returned to the room. * was almost impossible to shower without drenching the whole bathroom. The tray didn’t have any depth and the curtain was insufficient to keep the water in. * no shelf in the shower on which to place anything so you had to reach out to the shelf above the sink again adding to the wetting of the room. * air conditioning unit is in the living room doesn’t really cool enough to affect the bedroom. I had it on 16 to try and feel some benefit I would imagine in August that this is really frustrating when temperatures are much higher. * the design of the room was poor. No socket to allow you to use any hair styling equipment and be able to see in the mirror. You have to plug into the bathroom socket (I still can’t get my head around in bathroom sockets in Europe) * bed was rock solid. Painfully so.

Spacious and clean apartment, maintained daily. Relaxing apartment to stay in. Comfortable beds and sofas. Spacious balconies. Friendly staff at bar and reception. Food is nice and reasonably priced. Praia da Rocha itself is a beautiful place. Mirachoro short distance from big supermarkets which is useful for self catering. Would stay again.
