Hotel Plaza

The hotel has both pros and cons that visitors should be aware of. Pros: The view from our balcony and the restaurant are absolutely beautiful. The location of the hotel is very good but if you want to go into town, you do have to either walk down a very busy, dangerous road or go a back way that can be quite steep for some. The breakfast had a vast selection and everything was delicious. Well worth it! The staff in the restaurant were also professional and attentive. The rooms were cleaned well daily and the beds were comfortable. Cons: The room is small for more than 2 people. The sauna is nice to look at but the hot tub was barely warm. We asked to have this looked at and were told it was the right temperature. The hotel was also very warm and humid. The AC was not turned on so we had to sleep with the balcony door open which did not have screens. The parking is very difficult to manipulate. Very small, packed with cars and made it hard to exit. The worst part of our stay, unfortunately, was regarding the staff. Upon trying to exit the parking lot, 2 staff members came out and started to help(which I appreciated). But, they started laughing and making ‘jokes’ about the difficulty we were having which were very rude and offensive. The front reception staff also made us wait over 20 minutes to check out, while they were not attending to other customers just talking to each other.

Siamo stati coccolati in tutti i sensi.. La camera con balcone affacciava sul porticciolo di Porto Azzurro. Una piccola spa per rilassarsi e un ristorante con piatti curatissimi ed eccellenti. La colazione è sia a buffet che alla carta senza maggiorazioni. L'offerta è vasta con torte fatte in casa,frutta fresca. La carta vincente è comunque lo staff sia di sala che della reception:attenti alle esigenze del clienti, gentili e amichevoli ma estremamente professionali. Una squadra affiatata.. Un particolare plauso al maitre di sala

Camere pulite e bagno idem, con doccia comodissima. Colazione ottima, abbondante, di qualità e con ampia scelta. Personale gentile ma non attentissimo e infine una pecca la televisione: anche le reti di basi come RAI e Mediaset non erano disponibili.

Fantastic elegant unique hotel in the isla of Elba with the best view . I will never stay anywhere else

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte per un weekend mordi e fuggi all'Elba fuori stagione. Devo dire che l'hotel si trova in un ottima posizione, a poche centinaia di metri dal porto di Porto Azzurro, rialzato rispetto al livello della strada, con una vista pazzesca sul golfo. La camera ben arredata, dotata di tutti i confort, con una pulizia impeccabile. L' unica nota negativa (se così si può chiamare) è il lavandino di dimensioni ridotte. La colazione è servita nella sala ristorante, con una vasta scelta di dolce (diverse torte, molto buone) e salato e la vista mozzafiato che non guasta mai. Personale molto gentile e disponibile, consigliato!
