The Good • Excellent location, within walking distance of the old city • Convenient on-site parking • Clean and well-kept apartment The Bad • Unattractive setting: the hotel is located inside a plain commercial building and occupies only the third floor • Very basic overall: neither the hotel nor the room invites you to linger • No view; small bathroom with a weak handheld shower and plastic curtain • Breakfast is minimal and unremarkable • Overall feel similar to a Motel 6 (for Americans) or an Ibis (for Europeans)

The rooms were nice and clean, very modest room. The really big minus of the room was the heat! There was no air conditioning in the room, and the room was really hot! keeping the window open and the fan were not enough to cool the room. The breakfast was ok, simple, but sufficient.

Hotelli Sparre,Porvoo
Hyvä ja positiivinen yöpyminen hotelli Sparressa. Huone oli siisti ja hyväkuntoinen, lisäpisteitä huoneen televisiosta, mihin oli ladattu muutama sovellus ja pystyi katsomaan sporttia omilla tunnuksilla.
Aamiainen oikein hyvä ja selkeä kattaus.
Ei mitään huonoa sanottavaa, ajankohta oli kevät eli ulkona ei vielä lämmin, joten paha sanoa, millaista huoneessa olisi kuumana kesäpäivänä,koska hotelli rakennuksen ylimmässä kerroksessa. Huoneessa toki oli tolppatuuletin.

My husband came to Porvoo on business for a few days so we decided to come with him and stay at Hotel Sparre. We were really pleased with how welcoming the hotel was. We booked two rooms and they made sure we had adjoining rooms without us even having to request it. The breakfast was very tasty and because my husband was at work and the children were tired we requested a late check out till 2pm which worked perfectly. The rooms are very comfortable and the beds are cosy. The location is great and the old town area is just up the road. All in all we had an excellent stay.

Toppenbra hotell!
Vår vistelse på Hotel Sparre var fantastiskt trevlig. Personalen var otroligt serviceminded och tillmötesgående på alla sätt. Rummen var rymliga, rena, bekväma och tysta trots att de låg mot gatan. Vi kommer garanterat återkomma flergånger!
