I took a day trip and stayed in here for one night. The only thing I regret is that I only one day. The ocean view from the room was breathtaking and all staff were extremely warm and welcoming. The dining was also very good!
They offer free water taxi and free boat tour which was definitely worth it.
I didn’t get a chance to use the gym. But this is perhaps one of the best gym set up I have seen. I will take my family back here again!

We first travelled to Il San Pietro on honeymoon in 2001, and recently returned to celebrate our anniversary and my wife's birthday. Our visit simply reinforced my view that this is a place of timeless quality - the location, the staff, the service, the food and the rooms are all truly exceptional. Stepping back into the foyer and onto the terrace, we could immediately sense that the essence of the place, the care and passion imbued in it that almost hangs in the air, had not changed and has if anything intensified with the passing of time. This is a place to rest and relax, to take in the beauty and peaceful surroundings of the cliff top location. Positano is only a short boat transfer or shuttle ride away to enjoy, however returning back to the hotel after a day exploring felt like coming home. Thank you to Andrea and all of the staff - your care, attention to detail and stewardship are what sets ISP apart in world that has perhaps forgotten what true style and elegance used to be. Perfection at every turn! We had to make some last minute changes to our trip, and switched to this hotel after booking Le Sirenuse. We arrived late, and they kept their restaurant open for us to have our first meal at Zass, which was amazing. The service and experience made you feel completely pampered. We were upgraded to an incredible suite with two bathrooms, balconies and a gorgeous view of the town. Being a first time visitor to Positano, we were SO thankful for its location and quiet luxury. For those who crave exclusivity and a true (not trendy) experience, it's the only choice!

A perfect stay near Positano. The hotel facilities are outstanding, the food is great, but what really stands out is the service. You feel like family the moment you walk in; the wait staff remember your name and room number after your first meal; they greet you warmly everywhere and are extraordinarily helpful. The views both to Positano on one side and Praiano to the other side are beautiful. The hotel is expensive but worth it, and includes many extras such as free cooking classes, free pizza making classes, a free shuttle to Positano (a short ride), and a must do tour on their yacht between the hotel and Amalfi. Santa Caterina is an amazing place but this hotel might just beat it.

Il San Pietro is a hotel in it's own class. It stands above the rest. It's a gorgeous property unlike any other place we've stayed and all services are top notch. All of the food was delicious and every experience at or set up by the hotel was always exceptional. We always got a little extra with everything offered. Such special touches. The staff is beyond welcoming and friendly. The entire staff exuded joy so it was impossible to not be in a good mood during our stay. We enjoyed room service from our stunning balcony, small bites on the roof top, breakfast on the balcony, the seaside restaurant Carlino's and the Michelin start Zass - we loved it all. The best way to describe our stay at Il San Pietro is magical. We are already talking about coming back!

Extraordinary and memorable to say the least. This has to be one of the finest hotels in Europe! The best part: the people who work at this hotel. Consistently Excellent team throughout the property. The location, views, food and beverages are the best of the best. There are a number of complimentary experiences for the guests and then there is the live music; the casual manner they present food in the late afternoon as you’re sipping your Negroni or Prosecco. There aren’t enough superlatives to say “thank you.”
