Xenios Dolphin Beach Hotel

Been there from the 21st of September till 27th. There are so many wrong things about this place, so much potential just wasted because of the people that own this place. 1. The food was always similar, breakfast and almost always the same and the thing that shocked me and my husband is that we have NEVER BEEN SERVED SEAFOOD. That’s why we went in Greece, for Baclava, greek salad, seafood, diversity and we had ZERO. It’s shocking that this hotel is basically on the beach and yet they serve beans and peas and cold pasta …. They put lots of chopped tomatoes on the plates they display the food on to trick your eye and make you believe that there are lots of food .. but its actually almost always the same.. and it is not even tasty. I saw a review on tripadvisor a couple minutes ago saying that the Chef was welcoming everyone and chatting with the customers… We never saw the Chef.. and I think that’s because they don’t have one.. you don’t need a chef to chop some tomatoes and put some meat in the oven then throw it on the table… everyone can do that. I started to think that they write their own reviews. Even tho we had all inclusive, we also had to find a restaurant nearby so we can eat what we came in Greece for, ended up spending 100 euros at a tavern close by, but so well deserved. 2. The bar, which is basically 4 walls with a table on the centre where they displayed the bottles of drinks is so poorly managed and so old . They have a fridge where they keep the only red wine they have and serve and you can actually see the dirt on it. If you have all inclusive, you can only drink 3 cocktails, tap water, some liquor, draft beer and that s it. The cocktails are the most tremendous I’ve ever had .. basically they put half of red wine in all of them.. then they add soda, limonade or some kind of disgusting liquor depending on which one you choose. And they never give you a glass to drink from, only plastic cups.. I once asked for a glass and they said I had to pay for the beer if I want it in a glass. Disgusting. 3. Another thing that shocked us, was someone that supposedly was the owner of the place. This man sits every day at a table on the street and observes people. That s all he does. Every day we saw him wearing the same tshirt, same cap and a pair of mirror glasses so we never saw his eyes or where he was looking. The amount of disinterest he has about the hotel is wild. This place has so so so much potential but he just don’t give a sh about it. There was also a woman presumably his wife who was alway chatting with the customers that were just passing by for a meal or drink. Never engaged with the hotel customers . 4. The images you see on their profile are so far away from reality . The pool seems big and beautiful but its actually so so small and the water is freezing all the time . The tv is very old and they have like 6 channels in Greek and one streaming in English. The bathroom has a basic shower with no shampoo or any kind

The hotel was amazing near by the sea , the staff was smiley and helpful.The rooms were cleaned as like all the common areas the bar the restaurant the reception. The food was tastefully with a lot of choices in both meals per day. I feel thankful i spended a very nice and pleasure week in posidi

Really great location just a terrible hotel - poor food choices and even poorer quality with limited drinks like no white wine or vodka - the rooms are very basic but ok. No mention of the end of Sept being the end of the season with no public transport which in such a remote location can be tedious. So much potential just wasted.

So just returned from this hotel. Perfect location for a beach break. Room spacious but basic, had to ask for a hairdryer on arrival. Frendly efficient cleaning staff. Food, well, not Greek inspired, served luke warm, and very repetitive, limited desert choice and basic fruit provided either an apple or pear. Drinks... Poor choice of either wine, but not available for half our holiday. Coctails, well, Not really Coctails, either a white wine spritzer which was called a dolphin cocktail, an ouzo cocktail and a brandy and coke drink. Water is extra as well as diet drinks not being part of the all inclusive. Very small swimming pool, most of the staff were unfriendly. Also the local area, nothing to do, apart from a nice fish restaurant a short walk away which was really nice at the end of the bay. Also hotel not equiped for when in rains, people having to sit in reception to eat meals... Not good. We will not be returning and would not recommend for the price we paid.

Vacation August 2024. We stayed 6 days. We go to Greece every year but this year we had the best vacation. Beautiful hotel for more than 3 stars. Nice food rich buffet with good service. Very helpful staff at the reception. We want to thanks the girl named Konstantin she helped us a lot with a lot of patience always with her smile ,she found a solution to what we asked her. Really professional! Thank you for everything!
