The Outpost is situated across the street from Lake Independence and Perkins Park, 50 feet from The Lumberjack Bar and down the road from Lake Superior. There is access to many UP adventures right from its front door! Guests may choose to snowmobile from the property , walk the trail to Lake Independence, mountain bike world class trails, or simply relax in the AC with a good book.Situated in Big Bay, 30 minutes from Marquette, MI this space is perfect for couples, families, bikers, snowmobilers (plenty of room to park, and the trail is RIGHT across the street), family reunions, etc. The Outpost is a renovated general store/deli/gas station. Plenty of on-site parking is available. All units share a large grass backyard with a fire pit, gas grill and picnic table.Lake Independence/Perkins Park is located across the street, and down a path.
