I came to have a day out wth my family and we absolutely loved our stay, from the ambience of the environment, to the staff and most of all the food. The pizza especially was exceptional. I loved how they had trash bins at vantage points making the environment neat. Definitely I will be coming here again

My wife and I went to have a day out at coconut pointe villa and resort and it was amazing. 1, The place has serenity with beautiful ambient. 2, They have a beautiful and spacious Beach with a sea defense that gives a perfect view for lovers, photo shoots, meditation with good memories and beautiful views with clean space. 3, We enjoyed swimming in the pool and the water is very clear and the pool well maintained with a good shape design for adults and kids. 4, They have a solar system where you will have connections to all the solar systems in the universe 5, I enjoy yoga early in the morning, breakfast was served after yogo and my wife and I really enjoy our 10th yrs honeymoon 6, Talking about their rooms was well kept, air-conditioning was on point, bed, bedside lamp, washroom where all amazing including how spacious the bedroom was 7, I love their food served 8, Their management and staff are wonderful people. Compared to the last 2 yrs visit there has been a great difference, renovation with great changes. I will definitely come back!

The resort itself is very nice, with lovely views and comfortable rooms. It’s only about an hour from Accra on accessible roads, making it a convenient spot for a weekend escape. Prices are reasonable, and the location has great potential—you could easily imagine coming here every weekend. Unfortunately, the service is extremely poor and really undermines the experience. The staff seem completely uncoordinated and untrained. Dinner can take up to an hour to be served, and despite very few guests, the team appeared lost and overwhelmed. Breakfast was also frustrating—they wake you up at 8 a.m., but when you actually want breakfast at 9, no one is around to serve it. On top of that, staff noise goes on late into the night and again early in the morning, disturbing what should be a relaxing stay. With only a handful of guests during my visit, the lack of organization was even more surprising. This resort truly needs a strong manager to train and guide the staff. If service improved, it could become one of the best weekend destinations near Accra. But as it stands, despite the nice setting, many people will prefer to pay more or travel further just to avoid these service issues.

We enjoyed swimming in the pool and the water is very clear and the pool well maintained. I will definitely come back!

Great location and excellent hosts who are helpful and accommodating to individual needs and wishes. Very relaxing feel and excellent atmosphere. Comfortable beds. Remoteness allows to soak up the experience. Close to O/N Ningo areas with roadside shops. Quiet and comfortable. Hard to beat.

Johnny and his crew run a great bed and breakfast type of place. My room was large and well appointed, with an ocean view. Bathrooms are modern and immaculate. The air conditioning in the rooms is excellent. The other guests range from wealthy Ghanians out to have a weekend getaway to foreign tourists. The beachfront bar and restaurant has the freshest fish, crispy fries and iced cold beers. Johnny has assembled a staff that is friendly and warm, with a cook who is top notch and sweet!! There is a nice breeze (at least there is in September) that kept away mosquitos. Didn't get one bite. Loved reading on the upstairs veranda, which is shaded and overlooks the ocean. Sitting in that warm breeze with an ocean view and a soft hanging seat was killer. Very quiet location, other than the waves crashing! WiFi was perfect--the staff hand each guest a mobile hotspot with a password. The property is ocean front. This is a great place to chill overlooking the beach. The staff is super friendly, fun, and helpful. Coconut Pointe feels like it belongs in Koh Samui or Tulum, except for the fact that you will probably meet locals, especially if you come on a weekend. The beach is not far from a river mouth, so I'd prefer to look at the ocean as opposed to swim in it. An amazing activity was exploring the fishing lagoon a few miles away on a Saturday late afternoon. Head there 90 minutes before Sunset. Johnny got us a driver with 15 minutes notice. The fishermen pull in on boats that look like they were designed hundreds of years ago. The fisherman offload and sell their fish to hundreds of locals right there on the sand. Probably the most amazing experience I had in Ghana. One thing--if you do this, see if Johnny can arrange for a second person besides the driver to walk you around because parking is tight so the driver might have to stay in the car. Bring a good camera, because phones won't do this justice.
