Koh Lanta Hotels with Private Pools

"Overall hotel is very lovely, super clean and peaceful. We booked room with a pool access and didn’t like it at all. Everything was so worn out, shiny tiles on the floor made it look dirty all the time. Acoustics was horrible. Above us was an Asian family…… felt like 10 people there, they were screaming, laughing, running in the room until the late night and you can hear absolutely all! And the worst thing was a lot of insects on our bed - dead and alive, flying, scrolling. So first night was a nightmare….. but we managed to change it for a bungalow and it was absolutely lovely. Nice design, silent, very clean, no insects inside. Food in the hotel restaurant is not the best. First evening we had there fried fish, they brought it fully covered in ketchup. One of the waitresses recognized Slav face in me and was constantly trying to speak in broken Russian with me and my husband, even after we said I am Ukrainian and my husband is Turkish, he doesn’t understand Russian and I don’t want to hear it. So we never ate there again. But breakfast was very nice, not very wide variety, but all super fresh. absolutely lovely egg station. Somehow they manage to cook each type of eggs in the very delicious way. Few words about beach and island itself. We traveled in the beginning of June and I was searching a lot of about life and activities on the island before coming….. couldn’t find much, so was relying on google maps showing a lot of bars and restaurants around. So, it is pretty frustrating, absolutely everything closed because it is a rain season. Beach looks very abandoned, only few hotels work, all other places look like people left in hurry and didn’t care about anything. In the storm beach is full of sharp glass and other trash and no one cleans it. You need to watch your step all the time. But I can imagine in the season and good weather it must be a very nice wide and still silent beach to walk. Nature is absolutely crazy, so many birds, lizards, snakes and other living things even on the territory of the hotel. Also they are taking care about two lovely cats, so we were constantly buying them some treats and wet food."

"A peaceful, quiet, and relaxing resort by Khlong Dao Beach. We liked that it is an adult only place, and the location was perfect for excursions to neighoring islands as it is very close to two piers. A day trip to Four Islands and Phi Phi is highly recommended, and the resort offers various activity options at reasonable prices. Although the breakfast menu was mainly Western (we hardly saw any Asians staying at this resort), the food was nice and we particularly liked that they had a cold room to keep dairy items, veges, and fruits fresh! If you wanted to spend more time in actual Krabi, this resort may not work for you as it is on Koh Lanta island which is about 150mins away from Krabi International Airport."

"It was truly beautiful, one of the best stay of my life. The whole stay from the transfer from the airport to the end of the stay was organised to the smallest details. Franck the hotel management and his team doing a really amazing work. Room was spotlessly clean, also the pool area was clean and well maintained. The place is is on Koh Lanta, which is not too touristy, which is a great thing for a relaxing stay. Wifi was sarong at the whole resort. Great gym facility. Excellent breakfast with a great view on the beachfront. Overall 10/10 stay, highly recommended."

"The overall is very good, the sunset is simply invincible. There are groups of hermit crabs on the beach at night. There is nothing to say about the ecological environment. It’s just that Lanta Town is a bit poor, and the infrastructure is not comparable to that of Ao Nang, Krabi, Phuket. "Nice huge hotel, it has 3 big swimming pool, room were big and spacious. Breakfast selection was excellent, heads up for the kitchen staff, really enjoyed our breakfast. I do see some bad reviews on the room condition and furniture, which is untrue. The hotel is in good condition or perfect condition."

"It cost 150🐖 per person from the pier. Check-in was in the middle. Ms. Guan was a nice lady and took us to the room. Having said the precautions, the most important thing is to remind us monkeys. When monkeys come back to eat, lock the refrigerator door and don’t put important items in the living room. We all thought it was a joke, but it turned out that the monkeys were really rampant. Monkeys will dig through trash cans, eat all the coconut meat, and even sneak into the room to eat snacks... so be sure to lock the door when you go out. The toilet in the room is open-air, and there are snakes. We all saw them, but they were very small. When I came back in the evening, there were a lot of hermit crabs, snails, and geckos by the pool. The ecology is very good, like a zoo, hahaha. The hotel rents a motorcycle for 250🐖."

"The receptionist is nice. As soon as you park your car, there's a golf cart waiting to pick you up. Upon check-in, there will be a welcome drink and cold towel provided while waiting for check-in. The staff recommended it well. But when entering the room, the housekeeper didn't take out the trash from the previous customer's bathroom. The amenities in the room were very ok. There is an iron stand ready. There are a lot of various bathroom items. There's even detergent provided. But Breakfast has quite a few options. and room service is slow And in the shower room Water from the shower flows out through the door and it becomes impossible to separate the dry and wet zones. It's all wet. There's a lot of deposit here, about 3,000 baht. Overall, I really like the staff here. Good service in every depar**ent. Especially the front"

"When booking, there was only this kind of room for 3 people with a big bed with a small bed, but we had a couple of people staying. The room was good overall, the air conditioning effect was OK, and the hot water was bigger. More than 500 yuan a night, no breakfast. It is convenient and cheap to rent a motorcycle at the hotel, and it is very good to ride a motorcycle around the island! The facilities and sanitation environment are good, and the overall service is very good!"

"The hotel is located a little away from the main road that runs along the coast, so you can't hear any noise. It’s probably not very convenient to get to it on foot in the dark, there’s really no lighting, cell phone towers stick out nearby in the dark, we were by car, so it’s not critical).
