Odessa Beach Hotel

Odessa is a fantastic good size hotel which is very close to the beach. They have the best staff in Cyprus. There is the best and creative chef Andreas Yianni and all the waiters are skilled, sweet and super attentive I would like to highlight Michalis Elia he is super professional sweet with great knowledge. You can feel everyone is happy at the workplace and that is wonderful and important. So many thanks for that to the hotel director Yiannos Michaelides.

The staff were absolutely amazing. All very polite and friendly, they couldn’t do enough, very attentive. Room was good could do with a bit of TLC but cleaned daily and tea/coffee facilities in room which were topped up daily. My hubbys only little moan was the bed was not very comfortable. Balcony overlooked the pool and slight sea view to the left between hotels. Beach 3 minute walk. Main ***** 5 minute walk where you will find plenty of pubs, shops and restaurants, plenty for everyone. McDonald’s and Costa stones throw away. We hired a buggy from hire place just outside the hotel which meant we could go and explore but there are buses available 3 minute walk to bus stop. Ayia Napa 15 minutes drive, lots to go and see, caves etc. Water sports available at the beach along with boat trips. Visited Famagusta, the lost town, booked trip with Mr John, highly recommend this. Mr John can be found every night in his minibus on the *****. You get picked up at designated spots. The food was fantastic, plenty of choice for all three meals. Themed nights but also other food available. Drinks orders taken once you’re seated and waiting staff fantastic. Head chef very friendly and I would highly recommend his hot chocolate pudding. Great pool area with plenty of sun loungers and great touch, they provide beach towels. I could not fault this hotel at all and I will be returning. I highly recommend it, the staff make it what it is.

We were staying at the Odessa hotel for 10 days on Easter. It was our first time in Cyprus and we were so pleased with the hotel. Odessa hotel has great location, 3 minutes walk from the beach, close to the main ***** and lots of cafes and restaurants. The room was nice and clean, beds were comfortable, even got a cot, however my daughter only played in it. Hotel has lovely swimming pool and plenty of sun beds, there’s free beach towels as well, which was really handy. We had a half board and food was amazing. Lots of variety and choices, food was fresh, well cooked and delicious. The best thing about the hotel was friendly and nice staff who were doing their best and were so natural. Would like to say special thank you to David, he is a super star, thanks for your hospitality. Also would like to say thanks to Margo and Alex for entertaining us during our stay, great job! Reception team was friendly and helpful too! The weather was different during our stay, but overall experience is great, would come back to Cyprus and would definitely come back to Odessa Hotel. Highly recommend!!!

Stayed at the Odessa Beach Hotel from April 12th to 19th. , Flew with Easy Jet and arrived at hotel around 11 pm so missed out on our dinner,but we were offered cheese and ham sandwich, bottle of water and an apple. Not very appetising to be honest. We were charged 13 Euros for safe in room, but some people who travelled with Jet 2 got theirs for free which is a bit confusing,but reception said some companies added this cost onto their holidays. Food in general was excellent and great choice for breakfast,lunch and dinner. Each night we stayed had a different them night so food wasn't repetitive like some places. Drinks were table service at lunch and dinner. Pool bar open from 10am till 6pm and snacks available between meal times. All drinks on all inclusive were local brands but you could pay extra for premium drinks. Gym facility was excellent and I used it every day and was open all day and night which was a bonus as it is advertised as 9 till 5. A la carte restaurants were not open and will not open until May,so false advertising from Easy Jet. Staff in hotel were excellent . Stayed in Room 401 which had a view of the main ***** and a partial sea view and got the sun from 7 am right up till 5pm. Wouldn't pay extra for a sea view room as there are a couple of hotels which block the sea view and our room was just as good.Air con was great and worked perfectly. All in a good hotel,but not 5 star if that is what you are looking for. Hotel is only 200 yards to beach and the same to get onto the main *****.

My family and I stayed at the Odessa one week in April 2025 and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hotel is a bit dated but well maintained and clean. The staff is fantastic and makes its utmost in bringing you a great stay and experience. The food is buffet style for all three meals. I’m celiac and one of my daughters is vegetarian and we always had options to choose from. Everything on the buffet was well marked so we knew what we could eat. When the buffet contained few gluten free or vegetarian options the chef made sure to serve additional dishes for us only. I still remember the gluten free pizza I was served one evening. As mentioned earlier the hotel is a bit dated and this applies to the rooms as well. However, they are well kept and quite roomy. All in all, we had a great vacation and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

We originally booked to stay at the vrissiana beach hotel in Proteras as we had stayed previously but it was not ready for the season so we were switched to the Odessa beach hotel .we were certainly not disappointed. What a fab hotel. From the receptionists on the front desk supervised by a true professional (Koulla) to the excellent restaurant staff and we have to mention David who always remembered which wine we preferred with our evening meals ! The themed food each evening was varied and super fresh , breakfast also were amazing with a good selection even a Cypriot section with lovely fresh pastries. The pool area was nice plenty of beds , rooms spacious cleaned daily . Some parts of the hotel are a little tired but that certainly would not put us off making a return booking hopefully soon . Situated really close to amenities too Bravo ! Well done Odessa
