Hotel Villa Margherita

The most memorable aspect of our stay was the incredible sunsets which can be viewed from your balcony or strolling along the seafront promenade outside the hotel. The swimming pool was also a huge hit with us all in the August heat! I loved the peaceful gardens where we saw lots of geckos. Our room was very classy, modern & clean. We enjoyed the colour changing shower! Breakfast was delicious and finally the staff were so kind and helpful. The gift of the free beach bag in the room was a nice surprise!

Exquisite from start to end. I came with my husband, hoping for a peaceful/luxury 3 night stay and that is certainly what we had! There is ample parking at the front of the hotel, and immediately upon entering, there was a lovely welcome. Our room was superb- everything was clean and carefully thought of. From the robe, slippers and beach bag (complimentary during your stay) to the beautiful decor in the room- I couldn't find any faults. The view from the balcony (we had a deluxe room on the first floor) was beautiful. We stayed half board and I would definitely recommend. Each night we had a 4 course meal- all the dishes were delicious and again, we couldn't find fault. The evening meal overlooks the beautiful pool and gardens and the service was excellent. Golf Aranci itself is a quaint, quiet resort with a few shops, bars and restaurants. However we found the hotel was one of the most luxury places there so we didn't need to venture out too much. However the hotel is in a good, seafront central location. There is a beautiful beach nearby with a lovely beach cafe/bar on it too. Thank you very much for the fine service and wonderful experience we had- we will certainly be back!

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. The hotels facilities are excellent and well maintained. The room was unusually large for a European hotel including the bathroom, and well appointed. The room had a large balcony overlooking the water and we spent several hours on the balcony, by the pool, and resting in their unusually large garden area. We had breakfast at the restaurant each day, but didn’t use the restaurant at night so can’t comment on that. The staff have incredible attention to detail, and service was always delivered professionally and in a friendly way.

We had the most relaxing holiday in Sardinia at this hotel. We had views of the pool, gardens and harbour from our room. The hotel was extremely clean with lots of pleasant areas to enjoy a drink . In the afternoon cool fruit kebabs were bought round for guests which was most welcome. If you want the beach it's moments away. The staff were extremely eager to please and we will most definitely stay there again.

The location of the hotel is perfect, right on the water front with a good sized pool and beautiful garden. The room sizes are good and the view from the balcony is spectacular. The shower has good power and all the toiletries you need. The fitness room is well equipped. The restaurant food is excellent quality and selection, with very good local wines. However I cannot give this a 5 star review because I booked the hotel as it has a hamman and massage service. I enquired through ******* message about the massage services and was told ‘don’t worry you can book when you arrive’. I arrived at 1pm and was told the massage was fully booked for the whole day but there was availability the next day at 1pm or 7pm, I said thats during lunch or dinner. She then called another therapist to come the next day at 6pm. I asked to book the hamman for the hour before my massage and she said ‘yes that’s all booked for you’. I returned early from the beach the next day to go to the hamman before my massage but I was told ‘sorry it has already been booked’. I said that’s not possible as I booked it and was told ‘you must have misunderstood’. She then called 10 minutes before my massage to say it was available, which was pointless. The room was advertised as a double but it was in fact two single beds pushed together with very uncomfortable single mattresses. When I complained the receptionist looked surprised and said ‘oh you did not request this? She took the two bottles of water off my tab, which considering there should have been a fresh bottle each day free but there wasn’t, I don’t think it’s a far enough gesture considering I didn’t get to relax in the hamman and I woke up with a sore back from being in the crack of the two beds. It’s a shame as I would have like to recommend this hotel but it didn’t feel like they cared about customer service.

A wonderful family owned hotel. All the staff are super friendly. Delicious croissants at breakfast. The gardens at the hotel lead out to a gate onto the main road where the beach is. We stayed in a deluxe room which had a beautiful of the sea. Lovely stay would recommend.
