The Ellery Hotel

The staff is great and Marc Anthony was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay while visiting PTown. The room was great and the hotel is very cute with a great outdoor courtyard. It’s also located a very short walk to Commercial Street, highly recommend!

Loved staying here!! The place was clean, cute, bed was so comfortable! Such a great spot even had a sauna, hot tub! We got a great welcome with ideas of what to do during our stay! Would definitely come back here and stay again!

It is important to first comment about the staff, Marc Anthony, David and the smiling people who serviced the rooms. Welcoming, eager to please and unintrusive at the same time. The room was larger than I expected, the pillows fluffier and the bathroom immaculate. AND I loved having a coffee machine in the room. The hotel is super-conveniently located too. I look forward to returning again.

We were notified that our room was ready, arrived at 1 pm o and we had an electronic key which was great as no one was at the front desk. We wanted to get more information on the services at the hotel and get some additional coffee. A couple that didn't speak English ass a primary language was speaking with the manager and speaking about where they lived in Italy. After standing a few minutes the couple asked thee manager to take care of us however, he said no and continued to speak with the couple. We waited a few more minutes and then left. We were able to find a another very helpful employee that helped us understand some of the amenities at the hotel. This employee asked thee manager to get in touch with us and I did receive a text about 30 minutes later however, we were on a tour and I couldn't speak with him. We mentioned our concerns to the front desk staff when checking out and the manager came out of the office and was very defensive and said he tried to engage with us. He could have just apologized and all would have been okay but he continued to act like it was our fault. The guest may not always be right but they are still the guest! As to the room, it smelled like vomit, the fan in the bathroom didn't work, the light above the coffee didn't work. MOst hotels on the cape provide free breakfast, here you get a $5 voucher for the restaurant across the street, lowest priced breakfast sandwich was $8.25 and with coffee over $10, so covered less than half our breakfast. Beware the parking lot is very small and fills up. Two months prior to arriving, I inquired about booking parking in advance and was offered no solution only a note that said parking s first come first served. Not very nice service for a room that rents for $400 per night with taxes in June. There are lots of options and while this was okay for a short stay with little time in the room, it wouldn't be my first choice if visiting again.

Wonderful, charming, close to everything and a terrific staff! We spent 5 days in this treasure and plan to return in the fall. Comfy beds, soft linens, attentive management and staff. Be sure to engage the front desk with any questions and they go the extra 10 miles to be helpful and make your stay perfect! We loved the Ellery!

A gem of a hotel with a warm, welcoming, and lovely staff. Any questions we had were met with perfect recommendations (dinner, sightseeing, museum, and beach recs all on point! thank you MarcAnthony!) topped with an absolutely incredible location for a dual birthday celebration and first visit to PTown. Our king (bed) studio cottage was clean, spacious, and appointed with just the just the right amount of lux detail. Right out the front door, an idyllic shared courtyard felt like a private sanctuary, no matter what time of day. The Ellery is steps from Commercial street, with easy parking, and - another location bonus- there’s a fabulous market (Far Away Market), just steps away, with an amazing menu of gourmet sandwiches and happy hour snacks…while we hated to leave, we know we’ll be back!
