"I stayed at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott for 5 days. I went trusting the Marriott name, but it is a 3-star hotel that should honestly be stripped of its name. The swimming pool is far too small compared to the Hilton next door. Also, the hotel feels like a tiny condo, so there is nothing to see. And the rooms are very cramped. The beach is difficult to use because boats are docked in front, causing a smell of oil. In particular, the breakfast was so terrible for $45 (excluding tip/tax) that I ate it once and ate out for the rest of the time. The only advantage of the accommodation is that the shopping complex is close enough to walk to. The price is high, but the hotel is terrible in comparison. I think I know why no one mentions this hotel on the Big Island. The property itself feels like a small condo complex with absolutely nothing much to see or enjoy around it. Additionally, the room was extremely small and cramped. The beach was another major letdown. There are boats anchored right in front, which makes the water smell like engine oil, so it is very difficult to actually enjoy or swim there. The breakfast, in particular, was terrible for the price of $45 (excluding tax and tip). The quality was so poor that we only ate there once and decided to have all our other meals outside the hotel. The single only advantage of this resort is that the shopping complex is within walking distance. Overall, it is an overpriced and extremely disappointing hotel for what you pay. I wouldn't recommend it."

"The room is clean and warm, The facilities are complete, and the kitchen utensils are complete. The children especially like the grassy area on the balcony. The overall situation is very good. I will stay here next time."
