Galápagos Casa Playa Mann

The best place we stayed at in the Galapagos. Very friendly staff who looked after our every need. Beautiful room and properly. Very accommodating to my vegan diet with a delicious filling breakfast. Across the street from the beach and the sea lions!!

Casa Playa Mann was terrific to work with. The hospitality was great and they were very accommodating. The lodging was just a short walk to town, perfect for a stroll after dinner. I would recommend it highly.

Amazing spot. Super charming, friendlier staff. We had a room with sea view and large balcony. Great location walking distance to main town area plus a beach right across the street. I would stay here again for sure. Bed was comfy, room clean and cute. Much better than any overpriced luxury hotel.

Casa Playa Mann is a family owned establishment nearly abutting the namesake beach. It is relaxing and the common area is wonderful. Many hours were spent there in my vacation, planning the next steps and commemorating the previous ones. One day, as we were eating empanadas watching the famous sunset, we caught a glimpse of Jose, the owner of this structure, just strolling down from the hotel into the beach for a quick dip. For that second, we realized that this man had made it. Here we were, two travelers whose jobs may soon be replaced by binary code, approaching their final third of their lives and we witnessed the pinnacle of what could be. Would he see it this way? Unlikely, for he is human, and as such… he comes from assembly with a gaping hole that must be filled with ever newer challenges and accolades. As he came back, with a friendly smile and a wave, these thoughts washed away from us and we were able to enjoy the ‘just being here’ that drove us to the set of behaviors that led us to the very moment. I can’t tell you what to do with your precious time, but we went to kicker rock (Leon Dormido), Loberias, Muelle Tijeretaz, Point Carola Beach and Casa Playa Mann. Most of them we walked to, some we boated and one we taxi’d to. Come for the four walls, stay for the experience and congeniality of this wonderful host and his family.

The owners live on property and are friendly, helpful, and great at solving any question we had. Very fresh and tasty breakfast! Our room was large and had a huge balcony, which made it easy so spread out and also hang wetsuits and bathing suits to dry. Highly recommend!
