JS Portocolom Suites

Viajamos en família a este hotel dos noches. Nuestra opinión es muy favorable ya que nos sentimos muy cómodos en la habitación (limpieza, comodidad, espacio), por los servicios del hotel (piscinas, toboganes para niños, espacios comunes) y por el restaurante (con la media pensión encontramos buena calidad y variedad en el desayuno y la cena). El hotel tiene sitio para aparcar a la puerta o en la parte de atrás, y puedes salir a dar un paseo por el pueblo con tranquilidad. Además tiene varias calas cerquita, y no muy masificadas.

Going as a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 teenagers, we required 2 rooms. I emailed the hotel before we left to ask for 2 rooms next to each other. They email back promptly saying they will try to accommodate but can't guarantee it. On arrival we were greeted by the friendly reception staff and were pleased that they gave us to rooms adjacent to each other on the 1st floor. Rooms. We over looked the square at the front of the hotel which was a little daunting to start with as we were virtually level with it so people could look straight in to our room/balcony. However, this turned out to be a bonus as in the evening we could sit on the large balcony and enjoy the different entertainment they had on occasionally in the square. This worked perfect for us but these rooms may not be so good with younger kids as some nights were quite loud until early morning. The rooms were really clean, spacious and they were cleaned , with new towels and sheets daily if required. The cleaner was brilliant. The shower was also great. Food. We were half board and had no problems with the restaurant. There was always tables available with the staff working extremely hard, cleaning, replenishing food and serving the customers. We really enjoyed the food with plenty of options for breakfast and dinner. I had no complaints from my 3 boys so it must of been good. The kebab night went down well. Pool. Loved the pool area, always sunbeds available which can sometimes be difficult with 5 of us. It was clean and tidy . Just the right size for the hotel . We went in the spa area once which was really nice but was hoping for a heated swimming pool inside but it felt colder than the outside one. Again the pool /bar staff were superb and always friendly . Entertainment. Didn't see to much in the day which we weren't to bothered about as we were not looking for it . There was kids entertainment at night from half 8 then a little show or bingo/music quiz at 9-10pm. All the kids seemed to be enjoying themselves and we felt chilled with a few nice cocktails. Location. The whole of potocolom was pretty quite so if you are looking for a livley holiday with loads of entertainment, there are better places. But if you are looking to relax with a bit of nightlife and some nice restaurants then this is ideally situated. The walks along the harbour is beautiful. The short walk to the beach is more than worth it with it's picturesque views, the white sand and lovley clear water. We had an amazing holiday and would go here again.

Do not go to this hotel never a table big enough for our fanily which was 3 adults 1 child and 1 baby had to wait food was bland hotel manager lacks skills on how to talk to people. Rooms were kept so clean Entertainment was rubbish and boring Would never return

Pour les familles avec des enfants c'est super piscine pour enfants avec des toboggan etc.. animation le soir bar/ restaurant à la piscine, assez des chaises long avec des parasol. Le petit déjeuner très varié rien à dire il y à de tout . Le dîner aussi très varié juste une chose à dire la cuisson de la viande et poissons pas assez cuit malgré que je lui disais. Personnel très jentil et serviable et attentifs . Au niveau propriété très bien. Les ascenseur juste 2 mais petite. Au village très petit pas grand chose à faire pas beaucoup des magasins et commerces. L'hôtel j'ai ne pas veu d'animaux un chose très bien pour moi !

I came to stay with my mum and the service we received from staff was fabulous. Especially Dani and Jose. The Pilates and evening entertainment was great with such high energy. The food was delicious. Each morning you could get a freshly made omelette and lots of meats/cheese/pastries. Dinners would change from paella, sushi, noodles and each time really good quality. There were plenty of sun loungers and the pool was really relaxing. The area was close to some stunning beaches with crystal clear waters. Overall we had such a fabulous time we would definitely come again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Portocolom. The hotel was beautiful. Staff were so friendly and really made us feel welcomed. Breakfast was excellent with plenty choice, both hot and cold buffet. We enjoyed dinner but felt there could’ve been more extensive choices available. Pool area was clean, with plenty sun beds, the pool bar was excellent for snacks and superb cocktails. Highly recommend!
