JS Portocolom Suites

Stayed here before in 2023. Positives remain the professional and quality of most* staff. Rooms very bright spacious and clean, brilliant housekeeping staff. Food quality in our opinion has diminished somewhat, hard to go through each dish but generally the quality not quite there as our last visit. I had a slight stomach upset after the Pork cheek disk..The coffee and tea machines are really, really bad quality and regularly break down. The main reason for our decision not to return would be the restaurant manager ( a rotund bald bespectacled gentleman) on numerous occasions we noted him reprimanding his staff in full view of hotel guests. When entering the restaurant he would tell people where to sit, I challenged him on one occasion and you could tell he was not used to being told NO by a grown male adult. Lovely clean pool again with friendly bar staff. The addition of the gym is a great one but the no under 16 rule is not policed so it becomes a free for all. On last visit the percentage of German/ English tourists was 70/30 but on our stay we only heard one other English family, obviously not an issue but on this occasion we found our fellow European travellers to be less interactive and communicating than last time, another side effect of Brexit perhaps? Will we back? no, but that should not stop other guests from coming. Like everything in life and travel if you can this stay at a good rate then I would cautiously recommend the JS Porto colom suites.

Really lovely hotel, very clean. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.Great pool area with plenty of sun beds. They have a really nice children’s pool with water slides too. Nice touch when late on arrival in the early hours they had left some food, salad cheese and cold meats available for us

Recently stayed here with a group of family, including two toddlers. The hotel is in a great location, right by a harbour with a variety of restaurants all in walking distance. When we stayed, it was very quiet out and about. The hotel itself, quite modern, a nice variety at breakfast time. The pool had plenty of sunbeds available, and for two young toddlers around the age of 2, the pool area was ideal. The little slide was great, and a park. There is a pool bar with food which was always nice. There is some evening entertainment, and also a few activities some days for children. We had a really lovely time and would return.

The is probably one of the best hotels o have ever stayed in the staff are amazing and friendly and can’t do enough to help they have an amazing kids pool with slides and a main pool that is heated so it’s not even cold at all there are even plenty of sun beds so you don’t need to reserve a sun bed I would highly recommend this hotel if you are travelling to mellorca

We are in our 70 s and really enjoyed this hotel But there were also lovely families there with their children Brilliant suite with fab sea view Great choice of food Right on the Square We loved it and can't wait to go back Great staff and manager Made us feel so welcome
