JS Portocolom Suites

Suites were very clean and comfortable although the pillows gave me a seriously bad neck ache. After asking for a softer pillow I did get one but had to suffer another night with the awful pillow u til the new one was delivered. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Good selection of food at both breakfast and dinner although not particularly Spanish sadly. We inly spent one afternoon by the pool which seemed nice enough although we didn't go in as the weather wasn't great. We looked at the spa facilities but I didn't personally make use of them. Would have gone in the jacuzzi pool but the water was way too cold for me. Portocolom itself is a great location as its a quiet port town so not catering for tons of tourists like some of the other places we drove through. I would recommend getting a car to visit other places on this beautiful island. We went to Alcudia and Villamossa which were both very beautiful old towns and also to Soller which is quite touristy beach on the other side of the island. We spent our last day in Oalma which is also worth a visit, lots of beautiful old buildings and plenty of shopping if that's your thing!

Absolutely fabulous hotel. Cant fault anything with this hotel. Staff wonderful, food excellent, rooms extremely clean & modern. So close to many attractions & good walks around the bay. Lots to do at the hotel if it rains, however there is a wonderful indoor pool with a steam room & suana. We would definately stay at this hotel again & would highly recommend it.

Wczoraj zakończyliśmy z żoną i synkiem 13-dniowy pobyt w hotelu js portocolom suites. Hotel po prostu piękny, pokoje przestronne z dużym balkonem i codziennie sprzątane. Śniadania, obiadokolację na wysokim poziomie i live cook robi robotę, a szczególnie omlet na śniadanie 🥞. Basen dość sporny i dostosowany dla dzieci, hotel jak i spokojna okolica przystosowana dla dzieci. Piękna plaża spacerem ok 7 minut. Cały personel jest miły i pomocny, każdy wita cię z uśmiechem, aż smutno było wyjeżdżać. Napewno kiedyś wrócimy i będziemy polecać ten hotel. Serdecznie pozdrawiamy załogę Js portocolom suites🤩

We have just left JS Portocolom Suites after a 1 week holiday. This hotel has modern and premium decor, immaculate cleanliness, very friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is situated on a small town square, in a quiet marina. We had a room with a sea view, and I was fortunate enough to see the sunrise from the balcony (pictured). The food was excellent and varied each night. I especially enjoyed the fish dishes. We would have loved to have eaten the mussels in herb sauce again, my 8 year old boy loved them too. Breakfast was very, very good, the children especially enjoyed the churros with chocolate sauce. There was a wide selection of foods, from sweet to savoury and a lot of fresh fruit, veg, cold meats and cheese as well as hot foods and freshly cooked eggs, pancakes and omelettes to order. Service was prompt and very friendly. We very much recommend the snack bar for a hotel lunch too. The name "Snack bar" doesn't do justice to the selection of foods available, as it was a fairly extensive menu with burgers, pizzas, salads, burrito and much more. We ate there many times, but would also recommend the creperia just outside the hotel. Cocktails are beautifully made by talented bartenters and taste so good in the sunshine. The entertainment was varied and also fun for all ages. We really enjoyed the music quiz and the magic show. We travelled with grandparents too, so ages 8-78 were catered for and all very satisfied. Accessibility is also good, and the beach is not far away. The pool area is beautiful and also perfect for all ages. We worried the splash pool may be too small for our children aged 8 and 10, thinking from the photos perhaps it was more appropriate for younger children, but it was a huge hit and a bigger size than expected from seeing the photos online. The main pool is shallow and ankle depth at one end and 2m deep at the other, with a gentle slope down. It has gentle jet streams and is very clean and not cold. There were plenty of sunbeds available. The room was cleaned daily and was excellent. The soaps and schampoo smell so good that we bought some to take home. The cleaning ladies are also very smiling and friendly. The staff in reception are absolute gems. They are so friendly and helpful with all our queries. We celebrated an anniversary and also a milestone birthday, we were treated to a bottle of cava to toast the occasions, which we joyfully did. Thank you to Paula at reception and her blonde colleague who was also most helpful (I'm sorry the name already slips my mind). We made sure to leave tips in all the little piggy banks for the staff (don't miss the one for the chefs in the kitchen, it's a large green one by the live cooking station). Everyone at JS Suites certainly did their very best to make our stay the best possible family holiday, and that's exactly what we had. Would highly recommend this hotel. We rate it 5/5 mussels in herb sauce 🌞

Just returned after a fabulose break at js portcolme from first meet at reception with Paula and Marie so helpful smiling funny we had an upgrade was amazing apartment very clean cleaned most days fresh towels everyday pool spa well looked after we had half board would recommend never went Hungary staff we met were lovely only exception man on door off restaurant in night not approachable very abrupt embarrassed us by demanding payment and not adding to my bill then didn't pay off our bill so had to go through what happened again wouldn't even look at us no apology shower in our room flooded each time we dealt with used shower room once checked out this also flooded girl on reception at time not bothered didn't help in saying that we would return easy to get around beach harbour buses all at hand bars restaurants within walking distance big shout out to Paula and Marie fabulose xx

A very good & comfortable place to stay. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, but not so comfortable sofa. The shower room very good & with plentyof toiletries. We had TV's in lounge & bedroom, neither had a socket nearby though & when plugging in the Laptop we were only able to watch it till the battery went flat, not very convenient. The breakfast had plenty of choice, was very tasty, but wasn't very warm. The pool & pool Bar area were well presented & always had some sort of entertainment at night. One big point we didn't like was being charged €8.00 rental for a kettle in the room. Although there is alot of parking around the hotel, sometimes it was necessary to park slightly further away from the hotel, in Midd May. This is obviously a very family friendly hotel, but unfortunately we did find the amount of children & babies in the restaurant to much. Overall, we did enjoy our stay but won't be returning
