Such a lovely peaceful hotel. Every member of staff is so kind and easy to speak to. Everyone works so hard to give you a great stay. The perfect location set on the sea with a bay for swimming in the seas as well as a sandy beach within walking distance. A choice of pools and plentiful sunloungers means no 6am scramble for somewhere to base yourself. Taking away that anxiety made it so much less stressful. Always plenty of hot tasty food constantly being topped up. The entertainment was fun but not intrusive. The rooms may be a little dated but kept super clean and plenty of space. Some bars and restaurants within walking distance for a change in the evening. Would highly recommend Ses Portadores. My only slight grumble would be that you had to wait for the restaurant to open at 8am for a hot drink in the morning. No facilities in the room and everything else closed so not good for early risers!

Visited for a 3 night stay in August with my mum to celebrate her 80th birthday. Had booked this hotel through easyJet holidays.Had emailed the hotel in advance to request a room upgrade to one with sun loungers etc (which I also advised was prepared to pay for) had received a response which made me think this would be actioned but wasn’t. Had also requested some Prosecco in the room but this didn’t happen either despite it being an AI hotel. Little bit disappointed by all of this on check-in. The overall experience was a positive one. Food and drinks all better than expected. Staff were friendly. A special mention for Gabriel who put up a happy birthday banner which I brought along with me in the restaurant and organised for a slice of cake, candles, and the entertainer to sing happy birthday. All of this was down to Gabriel who definitely went above and beyond. Sunloungers were plentiful but you still needed to be down with your towels around 8am if you wanted ones with nice views. We stayed in Room 413. We found it noisy in the mornings - furniture being moved above us every morning. Doors were also banging closed from 7.30am. Pools were ok. Inflatables allowed if that’s your thing. You need to pay €10 per towel cash only - which is refunded upon check out. Budget an additional €1 euro per towel per day for cleaning. You can pay this by card or cash. There isn’t much to do outside the resort. A small beach to the left outside the hotel and a marina and some restaurants if you turn right and walk for 10 mins. It’s a very traditional Spanish resort and I did spot a large TV screen in the row of restaurants if you want to watch football. We only had one night of entertainment; apparently there is entertainment 3 nights per week. Atmosphere when entertainment was on was good; people dancing etc. There is a jewellery cabinet in reception. They only accept CASH. Pity the female staff member didn’t advise us before we spent 40 mins picking out what we were going to buy. We didn’t have cash and didn’t want to walk out in 38 degree heat to find the cash machine. We found her quite unfriendly and unhelpful. Overall; would I come back? No. It was a little too quiet for my liking. Did I enjoy it? Absolutely!! Mum loved it and that was a win for me. Weather was beautiful. Rooms spotless. Majority of staff friendly.
