Brilliant location, lovely and clean and the staff are lovely. Pool is big, lovely snack bar. Great hotel at a bargain price, will definitely be back

WARNING: PHOTOS OF SQUISHED BUGS Stayed here for a week with my best friend both of us are terrified of bugs. Every single night we stayed there a bug got into the apartment, four of which were huge cockroaches, We asked reception to fix the issue but all we were told is that they liked a plant outside the door and so they would come in from there, no action was taken to remove the bugs or prevent them coming in so we had to buy bug spray ourselves as the one they provided didn’t work. There was a crack between the doors of the apartment that the cockroaches could get through so me and my friend had to stuff the gap with toilet paper when we left for dinner every night to try stop the cockroaches coming in instead of the staff fixing the gap, the overall apartment was also very dated, the doors were drafty as we could hear loud whistling from the wind at night and there were holes/cigarette stains all over the apartment. The location was good and we had no issues with the pool. The place is nice but don’t go if you’re scared of bugs haha.

The pool area had such a great atmosphere. Special shoutout to Danielle at the pool bar for all the amazing margaritas. And another special shoutout to her little boy Reggie who became my best friend and made the whole holiday amazing. Will definitely be coming back. Rooms were great too

After reading some reviews we were a bit apprehensive about staying here but our budget for 10 people determined that we did, yes the rooms are a bit dated but it’s not like we buying the place, no complaints whatsoever for what we paid, the only thing we all thought was a bit odd is that the wind around the pool area is always worse than anywhere else, we could only put it down to the shape of the hotel, 5 minutes walk towards the front and hardly any wind, and Texas Rancho that is well worth a visit and on at least the same altitude was as calm as you would want it (go figure), but we all agreed it was a great hotel for us to stay at, big shout out to Colin and his staff behind the bar for putting up with us, and the rest of the hotel staff, I would say the rooms are suited to two adults and two young children, if you have teenagers it’ll be a squeeze but it’s not like you’re moving in permanently, all in all we all said we would return if we ever holiday in PDC again

Great value for money Yes it dated but it is clean and comfy and in a great spot Reception staff are very helpful Yes bring beach towels and toiletries but for what you pay it’s really good It is up a little hill but we are late 60 and managed and taxis are so cheap Supermarket across the street for all you need Pool area is brilliant
