Bitacora Lanzarote Club

This was our fourth stay at the Bitacora and unfortunately will be our last. I’ll start with the positives, the rooms are fabulous. All staff are very professional and hard working (pool staff and cleaners never stopped). Negatives, there is only one and it’s the pool situation. People reserving sunbeds (as soon as the pool area is open) disappearing for the day and not showing up until after 3pm. This has happened every year we have stayed here and each year nothing gets done about it. I have stayed in other hotels where if the sunbeds are left unattended for more than 1 hour, then towels are removed and stored in the reception area.

What a amazing little gem of a place. Stayed here for 4 days at the end of April with my daughter and sister. First time staying here and mostly definitely back. From first checking in reception desk staff absolutely amazing. So friendly and welcoming. We got apartment 219 and it was amazing. So clean. Air conditioning in bedroom is FREE. Plus there is FREE wifi. No problems at all with it. Only thing pay for is safe which was feck all. Walk in shower. Lots of kitchen facilities. I'm coeliac so found this helpful for cooking. There a coffee pot for anyone wanting to bring fresh coffee. Really comfy beds. Even the sofa bed wascomfy. Good quality one. It all looks newly renovated. Beautiful balcony that got the sun mostly all day. The place is spotless. I watched the staff out before 8am every morning cleaning pool area and all other areas. I've never been to a complex that has been so clean. Well done to all the staff on this. The bar/cafe..Amazing place Beautiful cocktails and staff so friendly. Could not fault them in anyway. I didn't eat here but my sister had the club sandwich which she said was amazing. Food did all look amazing. Pool area was lovely. Plenty of beds and umbrella when we were there. I've been in many a pool in Lanzarote at different months of the year. And they are always baltic. This was the first time I entered a pool without taking my breath away. It has a lovely wall inside it u can sit on and the jets had warm water coming out of them.. Lidl is jus less then 10min walk and ***** less again. Bit of incline on way back. But nothing major.. Little supermarket was open to 10.30pm. So was great get a few bits when we arrived in evening. Lovely, friendly staff there too..And I was over the moon to see gluten free San Miguel in fridge. Bravo to Lanzarote for been so clued into gluten free products etc. I haven't travelled since been diagnosed with coeliac 12 years ago. But I bit the bullet and went for it. I can not rate this place enough. Was the best experience I could of asked for... We had a evening return flight, but even after checkout we were sble to leave bags in storage and usr pool facilities. Always the shower facilities downstairs in the gym were the best. We were ableto get showered and freshened up for our journey home. Thank you so much to you all in Bitacora. Absolutely smashing it.. Look forward to returning again soon. Muchas Gracious. We have stayed at the Bitacora on six occasions, a great complex where all the staff are very friendly and always on hand to help. The pool bar is great for a snack or quick drink never ate dinner here so can’t comment on that. We didn’t have a problem getting a sunbed but people were still putting their towels down at 9am and not returning till late afternoon that is the only down side. We had apartment 202 it was lovely and recently renovated. I will definitely return. Overall a great stay.

Just returned from these lovely apartments. Well equipped with everything you need. We stayed in a refurbished apartment - very comfy beds and as we were on the upper floor we had a balcony with sun all day. The pool area was pleasant with sun beds tending to get reserved from about 9am. Cafe was good with great take away pizzas! Location is about a 10 min walk to main ***** and beach. The best thing was the staff- very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!.

This is our fourth visit to Bitacora sadly are last the place has lost its relaxing vibe Sunbeds remain a huge problem . Food and drink has become well over priced now Bingo on reminded me of being in Blackpool Cabaret on also was poor The bar has been refurbished it’s nice but shame food isn’t anymore Cold most mornings at breakfast Over priced The Supermarket on site has become really expensive now Sad to say after all the years coming to Bitacora it’s had its day now with us Shame because was such a lovely place

Property is away from waterfront. Quite hilly when walking. Not good for mobility challenged.
