"Route 219 traveled to Tibet + Xinjiang. After coming down from the Everest base camp, my friend and I stepped on the accelerator and drove 1,000 kilometers to Pulan, preparing to start the trip to the Ngari region. Because I didn’t pay attention to whether the room contained oxygen when placing the order, the staff contacted me at around 10pm to tell me that the room type I booked did not contain oxygen. After the final communication, they took the initiative to apply for a free breakfast for us. and oxygen. We arrived at the hotel around 01.00 in the morning. As soon as the car arrived, there were staff (two young brothers) outside the hotel lobby who greeted us warmly and were waiting for us. This scene was really heartwarming💓 and then took the initiative to help us get our luggage. In the room, after learning that we had not eaten dinner, we immediately went to the restaurant to cook instant noodles for us. Our friends who were traveling with us were very touched and felt like home. The guest room is also very atmospheric, the mattress is very comfortable, and the hygiene is very clean. The room is specially equipped with a humidifier. I have a good rest throughout the night. The room is large enough, and the configuration and layout are very comfortable. The staff are also very professional, very skilled in responding to various inquiries, handle problems very well, and are able to provide services to customers. I really want to thank the two young brothers here. They are really heart-warming. One helped carry the luggage and the other helped cook the instant noodles. They really made the customers feel at home. They were very moved. (I usually stay at a five-star hotel.) There are also many hotels, but there are really not many people who cook instant noodles in the middle of the night. What you eat is not important. What is important is that you really feel cared about.) I highly recommend Pulan Phuntsok Kangsang Hotel 👍"

YuntianInterContinental Hotel

"I have mixed feelings of this hotel. Maybe my own fault but I thought this hotel was associated with the more famous Intercontinental hotel brand. I felt a bit disappointed when I realised it wasn’t. The hotel was right at the foot of Mount Kailash which was the purpose of our trip however was disappointed as the hotel doesn’t have a great view of Kailash. I want to give positive comments as the hotel had a lot going for it, such as full body massage chair in the room, smart voice controls for the room but we didn’t use any of these. The cleanliness of the room was also lacking and the shower facilities was not as good as some other hotels we’ve experienced on our Tibet trip. We had a second a second night booked at this hotel but we decided to cancel and go somewhere else. Sorry but I can’t recommend this hotel."

"Booked online, but when I arrived, I was told there were no rooms available. The staff's attitude was terrible. The room didn't have a humidifier, and the kettle was broken. I called the front desk, and they said there were no humidifiers left and no spare kettles. Around 9 PM, I messaged them saying I needed to take medicine. It took nearly an hour for them to bring a kettle and a combined humidifier. They then told me to fill the humidifier myself. The service attitude was really bad."

"Upon entering the room, I was struck by its spaciousness and softness. The bed was incredibly comfortable. There were two oxygen vents near the bed, providing both diffused oxygen and nasal inhalation – fantastic! The three-part bathroom was also very pleasant. Best of all, being able to drink mineral water from Mount Kailash while circumambulating the karst peak was truly auspicious. The hotel's underfloor heating was excellent, and with the humidifier, the air wasn't dry at all. Overall, the stay was incredibly comfortable and wonderful."
