The service and the people were honestly so nice super friendly and helpful, especially the reception staff and the bus driver who drove us to and from our rooms the whole trip. The rooms were okay, I’d give them a 4/5. But the food? Absolutely terrible. This was hands down the worst food I’ve ever had at any hotel in my life. The boiled eggs were rotten, the bread was old and stale there was literally nothing worth eating. As for the private beach… total disaster. You have to go down a lot of stairs just to get to this so-called beach, which ended up being full of garbage and sharp rocks. Definitely not the relaxing beach experience anyone would hope for.

The location is OK. The resort is old and room is small. The breakfast is very basic. You better go to the island by ferry early (before 3:30? I forgot the exact time). We got the pier late and we had to rent a private boat, it costed more than US $100.

The restaurant ran more or less out of all the food on the menu card . Didn’t even have any fish the last day . Didn’t have any fresh food . The hotel need some renovation. The rooms were clean but look very worn . The fitness room were useless . The people at the front desk the reception and the people who worked with booking did a great job

While the hotel staff are extremely kind and friendly, the overall condition of the hotel requires significant improvement. The building and rooms are quite old and show signs of neglect, including the presence of lizards in the rooms and bathrooms. In my opinion, the value of the hotel, including breakfast, should not exceed RM 100. Paying more may result in a disappointing experience. Additionally, the nearby beach is not ideal. To reach Long Beach, which is more pleasant, you will need to take a taxi costing around RM 60 for a round trip or rent a bike for approximately RM 60 per day. A special note: the hotel does not have a backup water tank. During my stay, there was a water outage, and we were without water for the entire day. Worst hotel i have ever stayed 🥲🥲🥲

The food is bad. Cold and hard fried rice. Drawer for cutlery is dirty and the pan to fried eye need to clean. Waste most of my food. Better not to take breakfast and just eat somewhere near there or bring your own food

Very good service but bad location

The hotel restaurant lacks cleanliness as it is infested with mice and cats roaming freely in the food area. Evidence of the cats' presence can be observed through their paw markings on plates and tissues.

Had a wonderful and peaceful stay at Redang Island Resort, location is inconvenient but it if you want peace you will find it here

Too far from the long beach. Must take the boat to the long beach cost RM 100 for 2 person. Resort here not beside the sea. Nothing to do stay here. Swimming pool is too small also.

The hotel is badly worn out. The toilets spoiled in many rooms. Very bad experience staying here.
