We had a great family vacation! Emmanuel & Vicente took excellent care of us on our beach days. Highly recommend Iberostar Playa Mita.

This is an incredible property at a great location! The pools, rooms, terrace, restaurants and cafe, and the lobby area are well maintained and pleasing. Of course, the beach is extremely beautiful and the beach chairs/umbrellas allowed us to enjoy the waves. We enjoyed the Kupuri show, circus, and the pool games and entertainment activities. The resort in general is clean and maintained very well. But the best part of our stay was the service and hospitality of the staff. They anticipate your needs and attend with efficiency and a smile. The housekeeping staff at the rooms, pools, beach, restaurants, gardens and the overall property work very hard to keep the place impeccable. Specifically, want to call out - Chefs Estefania, Hugo, and Alejandra for preparing delicious vegetarian meals for us - was very kind of them! Christian from the buffet restaurant was also very attentive and helpful. Staff at Star camp - Ana, Aranza, Martin, and others ensured a great time for our child with safe and engaging activities. Jonathan from Concierge answered a lot of our questions and was super helpful. A couple of watch outs were that the washrooms had an obnoxious odour in the mornings (housekeeping addressed it promptly, but the issue persisted) and the elevator (ocean front tower) was not working for the duration of our stay.

Just spent 10 days at this lovely resort in an oceanfront, sunset view room. The room view did not disappoint. The resort is a bit of a long trek from the PV airport but definitely with the drive. The resort has an app allowing you to make all room requests as well as set and cancel dinner reservations. It’s super easy to use and also has the restaurant menus and the daily activity calendars. In the 10 days we only left the resort once to go into the surf town of Sayulita. Otherwise we spent our days at the pool and also took advantage of the resort factories such as morning yoga, Zumba, dance lessons and fun pool games BIG shout out to the pool servers Ale and Liliana who learned our names and favourite drinks and brought us extra drinks before going in their breaks. The spa massages were Amazing but I would skip the hydrotherapy. It wasn’t great and other spa guests kind of disrupted the zen by being in their phones etc. the golf course was beautiful but VERY expensive so really only worth it if your a serious golfer. We only ate at the buffet for dinner our first night and then we had no problems getting into each a la carts restaurant twice during our stay. Our favourite was the Pacific Express French Bistro themed to look like an antique train dining car. There were ALOT of kids but we didn’t mind too much since we weren’t responsible for them lol. Drinks were strong and there was a huge variety so I tried something new every day. My favourite was the Pineapple Margarita with a Tajin rim.

As members of The Club, we’ve had the opportunity to stay at several Iberostar hotels, but this experience has truly exceeded all of our expectations thanks to the outstanding level of service we received. We would like to especially highlight Chef Javier, who went above and beyond to personalize several of our meals and made sure we were always satisfied with the options. He even prepared my son’s special breakfast routine (something that is not usually offered) as well as a customized lunch menu. This kind of attention is what truly gives the membership exceptional value. The Prestige service was outstanding. Ana, Emmanuel, and the manager Stephannie made sure that everything we requested for our baby was ready in the room. It was quite a long list, and in most hotels, there’s always something missing — but here, everything was exactly as requested. Emmanuel always goes above and beyond. For instance, when one of our suitcases broke a wheel, he personally took care of fixing it right away. Likewise, when we had to change rooms, Stephannie quickly managed the authorization, and Miguel helped us move our belongings with great care and willingness. At the restaurant El Cuate Pancho, our waiter Víctor provided the best service we’ve ever received — attentive, efficient, and genuinely kind. If you visit this restaurant, I highly recommend asking for his service. In the spa area, the massages by Olga, Luisa, Alma and Mariela were exceptional. I especially recommend booking with them if you’re looking for a truly relaxing experience. Something else we greatly appreciated was that we could reach out to the Prestige team at any time with questions or requests. They were always available to guide us through all the amenities and services that many guests don’t even realize are offered. We also recommend visiting the Star Camp team — even though my son doesn’t yet meet the minimum age, they made every effort to include him in as many activities as possible, which made the experience even more special for our family. In conclusion, thanks to the efforts of the entire team — Chef Javier, Ana, Emmanuel, Stephannie, Miguel, Víctor, and the spa staff — our stay not only exceeded expectations but also reaffirmed the value of our The Club membership. For any need, we recommend reaching out to the Star Prestige staff, as their dedication ensures every guest enjoys an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

We went for a wedding at the all-inclusive resort. They said it was a highly rated resort. I disagree. It was OK only. We upgraded to an ocean front room. Not worth the price. The elevator was broken the entire time we were there (5 days). PLUS construction going on all around us. If you just like to hang out at the pool and drink it's OK. But they only have 1 type of beer. But, if you like adventures - don't bother. Everything is so far away it takes a long time to get anywhere and do anything. It is a OK family resort with A LOT of kids. PLUS if you want to go to one of their nicer restaurants make a reservation BEFORE you get there. The steakhouse was closed one day. Really, closed? Won't be going back.

Excellent hotel for a family vacation, This one was our second time there . The service was beyond excellent. We love the Staff, they were very friendly, attentive, and helpful. Enmanuel , one of the Prestige host was excepcional and went above and beyond to accommodate my family. We love the prestige area . As an iberostar member I’m so grateful with the prestige staff ,they took care of me and my family., Ana, Erika , Miguel and Jennifer Juarez did a great job helping me with everything. Big thanks to Gerardo , Vicente and Pedro , the bar tenders for those amazing cocktails and my dear friend Elvia for make my banana smoothies and coffees every morning. The only negative thing that I saw was the food , the lunch was terrible, it didn’t look like Selection Iberostar to me. Some nights the buffet for dinner was awful too , not to many varieties, they really need to work on that . The star camp staff are incredible, they took care of my son really good and he had a really great time with them. Is impossible to get bored in this hotel they have Plenty of activities during the night and in the pool area. We really enjoyed our days here , For sure we are going to come back .
