I stayed at Wadi Sabarah for ten days in June 2025, and it was the most heavenly and peaceful holiday. No kids, no chaos, no „touristy“ vibes. Just the rare luxury of silence, excellent hospitality, slow living and a sustainable environment. Having traveled far and wide, I can say Wadi Sabarah is truly unique and would come back in a heartbeat. I recommend that you look nofurther if you are looking for something like that. This place and its cultured atmosphere is a 12 out of 10. The most important thing: Everything at Wadi Sabarah is made and done with love. Such things are very rare in this world, so the hotel is a quiet kind of miracle. It is obvious that the owner Sami loves this place and tends to it like it was the light of his life. He and his team have put a lot of thought and effort into creating an upscale vibe which is eco-friendly but still lavish, and ultimately reflects the country's rich history, its long-standing legacy of hospitality, and its grace. The staff at Wadi Sabarah is truly exceptional — it is their dedication and care that make this place not just functional, but truly unique. Their hard work might often go unnoticed or taken for granted, but it made all the difference to me in creating a wonderful experience of quiet luxury. F&B manager Nabil goes to great lengths to make sure that all guests have a great experience, moving quietly and discreetly, he knows all names, room numbers and personal preferences in the blink of an eye and, with his great knowledge and expertise, he is the go-to person for all kinds of recommendations and requests. His staff is outstanding, especially Sherif, Mina and Imad were very attentive to all guests. As I was travelling alone, it was important to me that I could enjoy my meals peacefully and quietly, which was respected and supported by placing me in quiet corners, but they also always had time for a quick chat. Said, the baker, kindly let me try to make my own Egyptian bread, which was so funny. Chico, the poolboy, is so helpful and always looks out for all guests. A round of chess with the manager was greatly appreciated. At reception, Hassen greets you warmly and handles every request patiently and efficiently. The friendly housekeeping keeps the rooms spotless and comfortable, making sure everything feels just right. The proud gardeners maintain the grounds beautifully, creating a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. The cleaning crew quietly does their job with love. Truly, the staff's hard work and their love for this place shows in every detail. Shokran to everyone who made me feel at home here. The architecture, construction materials and interior design at Wadi Sabarah have been chosen with great respect to excellence, the environment and reverence for a desert aesthetic. You can see that the place was carefully planned, with a lot of attention to details and allowing for the luxury of wide open spaces which really let me feel at peace and at one with the surroundings.
