I recently stayed at this Hotel for 3 weeks ( Superior Room All inclusive! Here is a breakdown of my stay: check-in 45 min, first in line, last to get a room( left over room), the furniture looked worn out and outdated and the bathroom was even worse, cracked tiles…it was clear that this room hadn’t been properly cleaned or maintained. This room was in the back of the Resort and about 10 min walk to the Beach. The Beach was beautiful, but Bar staff were unfriendly and slow, and basic drinks like Cola Zero/ Pepsi Max options avaliable! The dining restaurant there were birds eating at the tables and around the food preparation area on the terrace. The staff did not seem to take any action to manage this, which raised hygiene concerns, see pictures! At the Beach, I witnessed a troubling situation where Bedouin children were trying to sell items. Insted of adressing it respectfully, hotel staff threw stones at them to chase them away! The Casino advertised as part of the hotel was actually closed permanently.

The hotel location was very far from all the entertainment places like nema bay and the old market It was not clean always find small cockroaches in my room At night the smell outside is awful sometimes we couldn’t sleep because of it

I strongly advise against it, the food is terrible, the beach is there but you can't swim, in short I wouldn't go back and I advise against it.

The hotel is exactly a price-performance hotel, you shouldn't keep your expectations high. The rooms feel old and not clean, there is only 1 heated pool in the hotel, the animation team is successful, the food is average, the same food is served all the time.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. While the exterior of the building might appear acceptable, everything else was far below any reasonable standard. The pool area was in poor condition, with worn-out sunbeds, broken umbrellas, and a general sense of neglect. The room was filthy and poorly maintained, with substandard furnishings and a strong feeling of being uncared for. The dining experience was just as bad – cheap plastic cups, unappetizing food, and a dirty dining area. The overall quality was extremely low, and it felt like no effort was made to provide a decent experience for the guests. Worst of all was the staff – unprofessional and at times outright rude. The service did not meet even basic expectations, and it’s a disgrace that guests are charged so much for such poor quality. I cannot recommend this hotel and feel it’s unacceptable that people are expected to pay for such a subpar experience.

The hotel when we once arrived The receptionist Amr and Mohamed were so week handling the upcoming guest Mr Amr only know one thing check in is at 0200pm , I made a check in and told Mr Mohamed i need king bed room I went to the room i found 3 bed !! I went back to them to ask them why you gave me three bed room !!! They told me will change just go take lunch and you will find ready I said ok I went to the room and the AC is not working tv is not working , i asked for maintenance from 1400 till 2100 no one fix it Btw the sea is not sandy not sandy I found no water in the sea To find water you need to walk 500m in the sea !!!!

The resort is very beautiful and big. The room was very nice though it needs some renovation. The negative thing there was that there is no lift between the downstairs and both the recetipion and the restaurant. I would highly recommend this resort.

I keep reading negative reviews about this hotel. This is a 100% honest review. Before summer 2024 the last time we went to this hotel was 10 years ago a number of times. We turned up last summer and omg the staff remembered us we were so well looked after. Staff are friendly. Food is the same in most hotels in Egypt I am fussy Easter but managed to find something to eat every day. Yes food is a bit repetitive but it is the same in most hotels in Egypt. I suggest if you want burger and chips every day you go to Spain where you can eat the same food you eat at home. These people work so hard for us to have an amazing holiday for not a lot of money and at times we forget this they work very long hours as well . The staff are all so passionate and give 100% to their jobs. We have booked to go back in August. I don’t know why but I feel safe in this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to go on my own being a female. The pools are amazing the odd tiles need replacing but I believe they have plans to renovate at some point. Fresh cleaned pool and beach towels can be replaced daily. Don’t go to this hotel if you don’t like music in the mornings we do and I am 60 years old. The animation team are fun and there is always activities going on. Please remember before we slate a hotel to try to rectify your issues at the hotel. How would we like it if someone came into our work place then slated us without advising us what we were doing wrong before plastering over social media. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to any of my friends. Believe me I have stayed in a lot lot worse around the world. Hotel is situated on a main road (with a long driveway). You can go out of the hotel at any time lots of shops trying to sell you t shirts, bags, trainers, gifts etc you can barter please just pay what you think the item is worth and shop around 1st. For those that can’t be without English food there is a KFC, McDonald’s within walking distance. I hope that this helps people looking to book this hotel. Hi) My name is Lana and this was my first visit to Sharm El Sheikh. First I wanna mention that stuff is very friendly and willing to help if there's smth. Also special thanks to WAVE animation team (Amir and Sarah) cause without them the stay would've been boring))The kitchen, waiters, desk, housekeeping, lifeguards all are working very hard and are nice to visitors. We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 night stay with Amwaj Oyoun hotel! We were kindly upgraded to a deluxe family room for no extra cost, which was spacious, modern and had a great view of the pools. There was a great strong shower, comfortable beds, and housekeeping was wonderful (Walid was very thorough and kind). The beach was a short walk away - and yes the tide was low, which meant the water was around knee depth but did get deeper if you walked in further. We walked in with our flip flops which was super easy. You were able to book sea activities like diving directly from the hotel which was convenient. There are a few restaurants available - we were upgraded to have access to the premium restaurant which was definitely worth it. The breakfast was great, lunch and dinner were ok, but did have access to fresh pizza and pasta which were made upon request. The staff are all very friendly and hospitable. Amr at the front desk was always available for whatever we needed, and was so lovely and helpful. The hotel is next door to the Rixos and it’s in a very central location near many shops, restaurants and cafes. Really great hotel - highly recommend going here!

This hotel was everything as expected and the service was 10/10. Everybody was so welcoming and helpful. We would absolutely come back here. The food was also very good. When we had questions, they help us with everything needed. I can really recommend this hotel.

Mahmoud is very helpful and friendly, always there for the sea guests. He is also very good worker and good boy. We were super happy with him. Hotel Amwaj has a very good ²worker in him. He deserves a 10. We are happy to meet him at Sharm al Shailk 10+
