"I genuinely advise anyone considering staying here to think twice! The entire room reeked of a strong vinegar smell throughout my stay, and it wouldn't dissipate even after prolonged ventilation. The air conditioning was incredibly noisy, especially at night, waking me up multiple times and completely disrupting my sleep. The cleanliness was extremely perfunctory; the hairdryer was covered in grime and stains, which was really off-putting and made me feel uneasy using it. I paid good money hoping for a comfortable and relaxing stay, but the overall experience was terrible. Both the facilities and hygiene were subpar. I absolutely do not recommend staying here and will not be returning."

Super close to the Olympic Sail Centre, May 4th Square and other touristy places can easily be accssed via metro. There is a 24hour Youke downstairs, super convenient. The view from our 37th floor was good. Only down side was housekeeping didnt clean our cups and bowls on the 2nd last day of our stay, even tho we put them in the sink. Also would be good to have some cutleries and extra glasses in the cabinets..."

"I booked a business king room, but upon arrival, I was told it had a half-window. This wasn't mentioned on the booking page, which was frustrating. The front desk staff was quite arrogant and cold. They offered an upgrade for an extra fee, but what's the point on a foggy day? Apparently, this place also has apartments in the same building, which made things a bit confusing. The room size was decent, and the half-window wasn't a deal-breaker, but the worst part was the terrible soundproofing. A truly awful experience."

"10/10 for this hotel. It’s a Chinese hotel so most of the guests are Chinese. Some of the staff can’t speak English, but they are very helpful. They used translator machine explaining things to us. As we arrived in the evening, there was no quiet and far-from-elevator room left. However, they helped to upgrade us to sea-view room close to the small elevator instead. It turned to be the best experience to see the sea view every morning, and it was still quiet as there are only a few rooms on this side. The toilet is Japanese bidet style that you can even adjust the water temp and turn on the light IN the toilet bowl! They gave us fruits when we checked in and a box of crackers when checkout (it was the best!). All towels were sanitized and packed separately, and were replaced everyday.It’s only 50m max to metro and bus stations. Also, only ~550m to the sea. I would definitely stay at this hotel again for my next Qingdao visit!"

"Even though the weather wasn't great during this trip, I was very happy with this hotel. Because it kept raining and my child caught a cold, we spent a lot of time in the room. Even though we couldn't go out, we could still lie in bed and enjoy the occasional glimpse of scenery through the floor-to-ceiling windows, which was very pleasant. The hotel's customer service was very responsive, and the delivery robot was a lot of fun; my child loved it. Thanks to Serena's arrangements, I had a wonderful vacation with my parents and child!"

"I highly recommend the Orange Crystal Hotel in Qingdao! The location is absolutely fantastic, just a short walk to May Fourth Square. My room had a direct ocean view, and at night I could see half of the city skyline – the night view was absolutely stunning! 🌃 The hotel environment was also impeccable. As soon as you walk in, there's this luxurious fragrance that's incredibly pleasant. The lobby has a bar, and the lounge area is huge with super soft sofas, offering complimentary candies and tea. You could easily spend an afternoon waiting for a ride there without getting tired. The room itself was also superb: clean, tidy, and the bed and TV were impressively large! I especially want to praise the pillows – they actually provided both latex and memory foam options, they really know what guests need! There's also a huge desk, so you can order a full table of takeout and work and eat at the same time without any issues. The bathroom mat felt incredibly comfortable underfoot, much better quality than ordinary towels. Takeout was delivered by a robot, so I didn't even need to leave my room or go downstairs! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Qingdao! 👍"

"The front desk staff were absolutely excellent during check-in. Even though we arrived two hours early due to our travel schedule, they promptly arranged for us to check in. They even thoughtfully gave a gift to our child. The room they assigned us was very quiet, and although it was a mountain view room, we could still see the ocean from the 21st floor. The room itself was clean and hygienic, with individually sealed towels and cups. Housekeeping was also great, cleaning promptly and keeping the drinking water and snacks well-stocked. Most importantly, the location is fantastic – right outside the hotel is a subway entrance, making it convenient to get anywhere. It’s also very close to the Third Bathing Beach. My parents and child were all very satisfied, and we'll definitely stay here again next time we visit!"
