The Gansu-Qinghai loop line goes from Dunhuang to Qinghai. At the first stop, Daxiadan, I stayed in the most expensive hotel and saw the Emerald Lake. I was completely disappointed. I heard the girl next to me say that the Emerald Lake was more beautiful than the Salt Lake, so I decisively gave up the trip to the Salt Lake. However, when I arrived at Qinghai Lake one day in advance, the best hotel was fully booked and I was forced to stay there for one night. I thought the more expensive the hotel, the more reliable it was, but it turned out to be worse than hotels of the same price in Daxiadan! The lobby and public areas are quite large. I entered the room and opened the curtains before I realized I was wrong again! The hotel is located in a marginal area. The environment outside the window looks like a livestock farm with a noticeable odor. The room is very convenient, the bathroom and sanitary ware are a mess, and the facilities are full of plastic. Only the two beds are acceptable. The hotel has a restaurant but it only caters for group meals. The breakfast is very poor and the only meat dish is steamed buns (Figure 9). All the guests are groups and there are very few individual travelers. Have those who gave good reviews never stayed in good hotels before? It left a trauma in my heart. I wanted to go directly to Xining and stay in a five-star hotel to relax. Fortunately, I was healed by the scenery of Qinghai Lake along the way. I stayed in the best lake view hotel and wrote down my feelings. On the Qinghai Ring Road, only Qinghai Lake is worthy of tourists to come and spend money. There is no need to come to Daxiadan and Chaka at all, believe it or not. When I checked out, I asked for an invoice and they promised to give it to me, but there was no response. They even had the nerve to ask for a good review. Absolutely terrible.

The room that was initially arranged smelled like sewerage as soon as we entered, so the front desk quickly arranged a new room. The new room is clean and the aunt's service attitude is very good. This hotel may have group tours as its main source of customers, and the breakfast is also very casual. Well, let's eat millet porridge and cauliflower.

Wow, the hotel is so thoughtful. When we checked in, we brought the elderly and children with us, and they gave us an extra portion of fruit. It was really heartwarming to have fresh fruit on the dry plateau.
