"As someone who appreciates details, I was extremely satisfied! The owner turned on the air conditioning before I even arrived, and they served me fragrant Jiuhua Buddhist tea upon check-in. The bathroom had a well-designed wet and dry separation, the shower had a strong and consistent water flow, and the bedding was soft and gentle on the skin. I fell asleep almost immediately after lying down, and all the fatigue from my journey vanished."

The owners are a warm and welcoming couple. The guesthouse is pet-friendly. I stayed for 3 nights."

"I was very satisfied with this stay! The hotel environment is quiet and clean, the room facilities are comfortable and spotless, and the room has excellent natural light and ventilation. There are also laundry facilities on the second floor with solid wood furniture, making for a really pleasant stay. The front desk lady was very polite; she contacted me in advance to send directions and introduced the mountain routes upon arrival, offering detailed and thoughtful service. Plus, it's only a 5-minute walk from the South Station transfer point to the mountain, which is super convenient. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit!"

"Great location, near the cable car station and easy access to the old street and other temples nearby. The owner family and staff were right on the spot to solve any queries you may have including our special request to book private transport direct to the Jiuhuashan town up in the mountain site. Breakfast was nice and we liked the special Zen design of the hotel and thoughtful cultural elements that were weaved in. There is a lovely tea and sutra writing room which became a restful spot of our stay there. My spouse and I look forward to staying there again when we plan our future trip to Jiuhuashan. We didn't encounter any cigarette smell as we requested a non-smoking room and the overall Zen environment enhanced our cherished Buddhist pilgrimage trip."

The biggest surprise was the food at the guesthouse—the stinky mandarin fish was authentic and flavorful, and the price was more affordable than restaurants outside. Supermarkets and wet markets are nearby, making it super convenient to buy local specialties and have breakfast. I'll definitely book this place again next time I'm in Jiuhua Mountain!"
