Good location clean and small room but In front of the hotel there is a large footpath. You cannot drag your luggage across. You have to carry your luggage through the footpath. It is very difficult. Cars cannot pass in front of the hotel. Staff can not speak English. Room like pic.

It was my first time to visit the beautiful ancient city of Shanhaiguan. The hotel environment was very quiet. The room facilities were a bit old, but very clean. The waiters were warm and attentive. It only took 6 minutes to walk to the No. 1 Pass in the World. There was not much traffic in the ancient city this season. I guess this hotel will be full in the summer.

I was planning to go to Dalian and Tianjin, but there were no suitable train tickets, so I came here with the intention of making a stopover at Shanhaiguan, the starting point of the Great Wall of China. I really liked the old-fashioned atmosphere of the house of a famous powerful family in the past, with its large glass doors and Chinese tile roofs. The hotel is newly built (opened in April of this year), so it is very clean and has great facilities, and the price is cheap. The first gate of the Great Wall is right in front, so I am very satisfied. Above all, the hotel staff seemed a little flustered because I was the first guest visiting Korea (probably the first foreign guest), but each and every staff member welcomed me so warmly that I will never forget it. This hotel offers a family-like atmosphere and a delicious breakfast, so I highly recommend coming with your family.

Facilities: basic standard. This price is already cost-effective. I paid 590 for three nights. Check-in on September 8, 2024. Hygiene: We are also satisfied Environment: It is very close to the ancient town. It is convenient to go to the surrounding area for dinner and breakfast. There are fried rice, noodles, spicy hot pot, night market, KFC, and bakery. Take a taxi (choose a ride) to Jiaoshan Great Wall, which is about 11 yuan for about 5 kilometers. It is difficult to take a taxi without adding a fare on the return trip, so we walked back. Going to Lao Ma Tou is in the opposite direction of Jiaoshan Great Wall, so this hotel is probably between these two attractions. Service: very good.

Could not recommend this hotel more - fabulous location, extremely clean rooms and very welcoming employees. It was great to be able to practice calligraphy in the comfort of your room (they had a complimentary calligraphy set in each room). The calligraphy museum next door was a real treat!They offered a range of interactive activities from Lino printing to etching on pottery.

Excellent service. Staff was so friendly and helpful. They mangas to change our room without any extra fee.. Hotel was clean. Will definitely return soon.

I booked a hotel that looked okay on Trip.com . After I went there, I found that it was not okay. It was very good. The environment was good. I just wanted to take pictures when I went there. And this hotel has accommodation, restaurants and coffee, Shuflei, wine, order a cup of coffee and sit by the window, quietly in a daze, very healing the unpleasantness of going to work. The young lady at the front desk is also very enthusiastic, and I will book the ancient road again if I have the opportunity. ❤️

The hotel is in the ancient city, it is very convenient to eat and drink, the room booked is facing the street, but it is not noisy at all, and the windows are soundproofed. The location is excellent, very close to the old dragon attractions, and another place worth visiting is the beach of Bailu Island, with few people and relatively clean. The fly in the ointment is that there are more mosquitoes, killing three cockroaches before going to bed, inserting mosquito coil liquid, still bitten in the middle of the night, and found two cockroaches on the wall in the morning. Anyway, I will book this hotel again here.
