整體體驗中規中矩,前台服務有待提升,幸好有優秀的禮賓Karl加分
Decent overall experience, but front desk service needs improvement — thankfully Concierge Karl made up for it.
入住魁北克希爾頓酒店的整體過程算是順利,Check-in流程也算順暢,但等候時間較長,排隊等了將近20分鐘,期間有兩個前台明明空着,卻沒有接待客人。前台員工的服務態度並不特別友好,尤其是對華人客人。我留意到他們對後面的外國客人會詳細介紹酒店的設施,但對我卻衹簡單説了幾句,明顯落差。
The overall process at Hilton Quebec was smooth, though the check-in wait was quite long — around 20 minutes. Two front desk counters were unoccupied but weren’t taking guests, which felt inefficient. The front desk staff didn’t come across as particularly friendly or welcoming, especially towards Asian guests. I noticed they explained facilities in detail to other (non-Asian) guests behind me in line, but barely said a word to me.
房間方面沒有問題,乾淨整潔,跟預訂時的訊息完全一致。
The room itself was clean, tidy, and exactly as described when booking — no complaints here.
值得表揚的是禮賓部的Karl,他非常有禮貌也很熱情,主動説明停車場入口,還貼心地推薦周邊可以遊玩的景點,並願意借我馬克筆(sharpies),讓人感受到真正的服務精神。
What really stood out was Concierge Karl — he was incredibly polite, welcoming, and helpful. He proactively explained how to access the parking lot, gave great recommendations on places to visit nearby, and even lent me some Sharpies when I needed them. He truly embodied great hospitality.
比較可惜的是,這次是我慶祝生日的旅行,前台在Check-in時看到我的證件,甚至還更新了我的會員資料,卻完全沒有一句“生日快樂”,讓人覺得有點冷漠。作為國際連鎖酒店,這種小細節其實可以做得更好。
One disappointing detail: this was a birthday trip for me. At check-in, the front desk staff saw my ID and even updated my membership info, but not a single “Happy Birthday” was mentioned. For an international hotel chain, this kind of detail matters and could have made the experience much warmer.
希望酒店能加強前台員工的服務意識,不衹是流程順利,也要注重賓客的感受。
I hope the hotel will invest more in front desk training — beyond efficient procedures, it’s the personal touch that makes a difference.
