Most people write a review after they’ve left, but we’re currently five nights into a 16-night stay—and for the price, I admit I did (or rather, do) expect more. We booked a two-bedroom apartment for the convenience of being able to cook and do laundry. Unfortunately, cooking is proving to be a challenge. The stove requires the power to be turned off and the oven reset before it can be used—every single time. Even then, it doesn't always work right away. It has taken more than 10 attempts on some nights before the stove finally kicks in. The kitchenware is a mismatched collection of pots, lids, and steamers. We’re making do with what’s there, but it’s far from ideal. Despite requesting one from reception, we still can’t even get a plug to fill the sink to do the dishes—honestly, how difficult is that? We were supplied three coffee pods at the start of our 16-night stay—beyond that, it’s $1.50 per pod. Not a huge deal, but again, given the length and cost of our stay, it feels stingy. Streaming anything on the TV is another challenge. During a movie, we often have to turn the TV on and off five to ten times, depending on the time of day, because it continuously buffers. The room is advertised as including robes—there are none. It mentions a safe—we’ve yet to find it. And "high-speed internet" must only apply if you don’t want to watch Netflix. I’ve never thought of myself as someone with high expectations, but I don’t think basic things like a working stove, a sink plug, or being able to watch TV after a long day skiing are unreasonable—especially not at this price point.
