"Very well received by a charming lady who also gave me very good information on the towns and restaurants around Quimper. The room was classic, simple, efficient, but soulless, a cruel lack of decoration and finishes. Of course we are in a large chain, but still. Same for the breakfast, too simple, not very varied, and especially with mediocre quality products, without highlighting local products. For the same price (€13.50) you can find better in other hotels. In short, I did not have a bad stay, and I appreciated the reception staff, but the lack of taste of the rooms and the average breakfast will not make me want to return to this establishment."

"The hotel is in a lovely old building. The rooms are modern, but definitely not four stars. I had a junior suite which was utilitarian. The sloping roof made it impossible to see the river or even stand up in most of the room. The chairs were beanbag chairs. Staff were helpful enough. The breakfast which had been posted for €10 was billed to me at € 20. It’s away from the main part of town so not much to do within walking distance."

"Basic and no redeeming features except the breakfast!! No pictures no chair no bathroom( basin and shower part of the bedroom with a net curtain divider) !! No plug in the wash basin no room to close the door when seated in the toilet!! Almost all of the staff unhelpful and uncaring( one was OK who we saw on our first day and not again! Unfortunately we booked 3 night stay!) Payment was requested on arrival which we compiled with,only to realise that this was probably done to contend with complaints on seeing the accommodation...never again!!) This was the worst holiday we have ever had in France and upset me very much...to be treated with such lack of respect as to tell me on complaining about the lack of a plug...what do you expect..you booked budget!! Well budget in England still gives you a good level of accommodation and I would expect a decent hotel in France to do the same!! This holiday was like being in prison..a pokey,blank walled room with no creature comforts except for the paid for breakfast!! Never ever again Ibis Brest😡"
