"The hotel is about 8-10 minutes' walk from the train station and the historical center, making it very convenient for travel. The hotel is bright as soon as you enter it. The lounge is very impressive. Although the paintings on the wall are replicas, they are also famous paintings. The guest rooms are very spacious, with dining tables, desks, sofas, chairs and stools, which are very convenient to use. The bedding is acceptable; the dry and wet areas are separated, the bathroom is large, and the bathtub is equipped with small non-slip blocks, which is clean and hygienic. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly, carefully introduced the hotel services, and also thoughtfully helped plan the itinerary to the French double town of Locronan. If there was no lady at the front desk asking for the free Italian coffee fee, the stay here would be perfect."

"Great parking, very clean, bedroom reasonable size with nice shower. The bed was incredibly comfortable so had 2 good nights sleep. The breakfast really was excellent offering the usual ham cheese and breads as well as croissants and brioche, but also eggs which you boiled yourself, all made for a great start to the day. There was a salon area where you could just sit and chat or watch a movie. The only slight disappointment was with our evening meal. My partner asked for rumpsteak and I had tilapia fillet. The steak was unfortunately cold when it arrived even though the sweet potato fries and veg were piping hot and delicious. My tilapia was delicious around the edges but the middle of the fish was not cooked through, but again the vegetables it was served with were piping hot and delicious. It hasn’t put us off eating there again, everyone has bad days or equipment issues. We would definitely stay here again, it is good value for money."

"Three night stay in May 2023 to tour the area by car. My room 24 while nice was incredibly small with possibly the narrowest entry door to a hotel room I have seen and a bedroom that was just too small for what they had in it which wasn’t a lot. While the room was clean and all the fixtures and fittings were nice it just felt too tight with a small space on one side of the bed and the end of the bed. There was an oversized lounge chair which looked like it may have converted to a single bed which would have made the space even tighter and while there was no desk there was a small round table that you could move to the chair to use a makeshift desk but it was incredibly heavy and awkward to move. There was no real closet or storage just some shelves and an open hanging area and a large wall mounted LCD TV. I had two suitcases and was constantly having to move these to get around. The bathroom like the rest of the space felt incredibly tight but was modern and clean but the lack of a door on the shower meant that the bathroom floor got very wet. The hotel had free parking and while I was there the hotel seemed to be being used by some of the participants in the Tour de Bretagne I think it was called and was filled with some beautiful classic cars. The hotel is located on the outskirts of Quimper near an industrial area and a car would be necessary as there wasn’t a lot within the immediate area within walking distance from what I saw. The hotel was fine but the rooms are just way too small for two people."

"Extremely friendly and attentive staff that were always there to greet with a smile. No problem was too big, nor small for the staff at Ibis Quimper. Room was tidy and the hotel had great amenities, including on-site chickens. The team were very accommodating to a room change following a slight mistake with the beds and dealt with issues accordingly. Staff had great local knowledge and were extremely friendly. Would recommend this establishment to anyone visiting the area."
