Valamar resort è una garanzia, e la mia scelta Adults only meraviglioso. Pulizia camera e spazi in comune perfetta, piscina stupenda con acqua riscaldata che ti permette di rimanere quanto si voglia. Colazione e brunch sel service con tantissima scelta e varietà di pietanze. Aperitivo pomeridiano con stuzzichini, bibite e prosecco. Il mare è bello acqua limpida e bei colori. Sia in piscina che al mare ci sono a disposizione lettini sdraio e ombrelloni.

Unfortunately the reviews here are for the whole complex so it would depend on exactly where you stay as to how good your experience would be. We were all inclusive in the family block which really does cater for families with very small children. For us as a couple, however, we felt the food was of a poor quality,, there were restrictions and where you couldn’t couldn’t go. You were only allowed to use one buffet restaurant despite there being more than that in the complex. There was no bar as such at the pool, it was effectively a container containing a ladies and a gents toilet and the rest of it was a serve yourself Bar consisting of red wine, white wine and beer, all on tap. The beer was just about okay, both the wines were awful. They were tea and coffees as well and some soft drinks. No ice, if you wanted to slice a lemon well, you’re out of luck. Same arrangement in the buffet regarding drinks. There were only two of the bars you could use on the all-inclusive, one was in the kids zone but it’s still the same arrangements regarding drinks. The other was in an adjacent hotel at the rear overlooking a road. You did get served there, but it was still from the same pumps. There were cocktails available there, some were from tins, others were local spirits and the rum was absolutely disgusting Trying to end on a positive, the views were stunning and the staff were generally very helpful and the resort was very clean. We’ve paid a lot less than this in the area and got an awful lot better. It’s not a hotel we will ever return to.

We stayed in the Girandella Family part of the resort. We opted for the all inclusive package. Food was various, plentiful and most of the time not bad. Same goes for the soft drinks, albeit too sweet. A few alcoholic beverages to choose from. Tried white wine and a beer and it was okay. Coffee was acceptable. Staff members were great, especially Marica, Teo and Amin. Vesna, the cleaning lady was excellent as well. Rooms were cleaned daily. Bed was comfortable enough, but too short if you are a tall person. Pillows were okay, but could be upgraded. Decent size balcony with table and chairs to enjoy evenings with an incredible view on the Adriatic Sea. Lovely smallish beach in front of the hotel with plenty of natural shade, free towels and beach chairs. Secure and large enough parking spot. Long and tranquil seaside promenade in combination with healing natural scents was an excellent way to unwind early in the morning or late in the evening. A couple of minor issues. Cocktails that are included in the all inclusive package and that are served in the nearby Valamar Bellevue hotel were below average. On the other hand, paid ones from the Girandella hotel Lobby bar were very good. If you are very tall, watch your head in the hotel corridors as well as in parts of your room. You'll also find bed to be too short. If you have mobility issues, you may find paths around resort to be too steep. If you are seeking to escape modern life madness and find your calm, this is your place. We will surely return.
