"Our party of 10 had an enjoyable weekend staying at the Pegwell Bay Hotel. Vey friendly helpful staff with clean well equipped bedrooms. Excellent breakfast was provided with easy access to bar and restaurant amenities. Well located for access to Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Canterbury. Only gripe would be a need for better pillows in bedrooms."

"A very quirky hotel. No kitchen, no bar, and, having spent many years travelling for work, 150 night per year in hotels, this hotel is only really suitable for single night stays. Very poor attention to detail, winter duvets on bed in July with no other apparent options, minimal tea and coffee,4,in room caddy with no decaf option,no drinking water provided either. The desk fan in the room was not up to the job. Amazing view of the harbour though."

"The hotel is right across the sea, just a few steps across the street. It has a restaurant, making dining convenient and the food is decent. However, the breakfast selection was too limited, completely overpriced. Service was lukewarm; check-in wasn't possible until 3 PM. Overall, the human element could be improved."

The Falstaff Hotel & Cafe Ramsgate

"We were very pleased with our room ( number 7) on the top floor. It had a large very comfortable bed and the shower was powerful. We liked the view over the roof tops. The stairs are narrow though so not easily accessible to infirm guests. The continental breakfast was adequate and included in the price. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Parking behind the hotel was great when we eventually found it!!"

"Absolutely gorgeous hotel, room was lovely and spacious, spotless across the whole hotel, lovely bar and lounge area, breakfast was great, very tasty and plenty of choice, Tasha was the perfect host, so friendly and helpful as was Sarah and Harry, location is ideal but beach, views from room over marina was an added bonus, did find the stairs a bit steep at very top and couple of the bath towels had seen better days, a bit threadbare but otherwise we had a great 3 days so thank you to everyone at hotel"
