Maitai Rangiroa

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Man fühlt sich, als wäre man bei seinen Großeltern zu Gast, was hier absolut positiv gemeint ist. Das Personal, besonders die älteren Damen waren sehr herzlich. Die Bungalows (wir hatten Beachbungalow Nr. 6 (beste ruhige Lage)) waren sehr geräumig, allerdings etwas "klapprig" und nicht ganz so sauber, aber darüber kann man hier hinwegsehen, da das Gesamtfeeling überaus positiv war. Sehr schade fanden wir, dass man von unserem Bungalow erst bis an andere Ende der Anlage musste um ins Wasser gehen zu können, aber das wird allein wegen der brüchigen Korallenbänke an der Ufermauer schon nicht anders machbar sein und so läuft man sich das gute Essen gleich wieder ein wenig ab.

Un hôtel bien placé. 12 eu la location du vélo pour 2 heures!!!excessif et le taxi!!!50 euros aller retour pour 1,1 kms!!!des champions. Sinon personnel agréable et bon restaurant. Belle emplacement Je n'y reviendrais plus. Bonne continuation

Small, charming, lovely. and accessible. Small hotel with bungalows around a garden. Lovely dining area with a view of the ocean and lovely sunsets every night. I am a wheelchair user - there were concrete pathways throughout the garden, to the bungalow, to the restaurant. Incredibly courteous and warm staff. The atoll is quiet, so come to relax and enjoy the views and lagoon excursions.

This was a very good experience. We had come from their sister hotel in Huahine and the difference was very clear. Whilst the management of the Maitai in Huahine has obviously ignored several years of reviews with the same complaints, the Maitai in Rangiroa has listened. The reception staff were excellent and attentive and the ladies even offered to help with baggage. The food was excellent and the hotel was clean and bright. The rooms are looking a bit tired now - and probably need some updating. But overall we had a lovely stay!

This resort isn’t for anyone please do your own research because I didn’t do it and it cost me losing time and money the bungalow isn’t what they said in their site the condition isn’t good you will have mosquitoes inside the bungalow during the day and the night because the front door big gaps allows the mosquitoes to get inside the bungalow during during the day and night.The room has A/C but isn’t cooling the room so I have to ask for fan to help cool the room.when I emailed the resort about if we can Snorkel at the bungalow they said yes so we was happy about that but when we got here I found out there is no way anyone can snorkel here but you can hire someone to take you snorkel somewhere else.

Highly recommend the Maitai Rangiroa. We had also stayed at the Maitai in Bora Bora 2 years ago and found that a great option also that didn’t cost a small fortune. We were welcomed with a tropical Juice and a lovely lei while we checked in. The grounds are lovely and very well kept. The pool and its surroundings including the bar are beautiful. The room was clean and a good size. We had the 1st 2 nights in a garden bungalow and then the last 2 nights in a waterfront bungalow which was lovely having the view and a little more privacy. We had breakfast included. It’s nothing fancy but great to start the day with as much as you can eat. All the stuff were very friendly and helpful at reception. Most of the restaurant staff were great too. Good location right in the middle of the island with some nice snorkeling out the front and Kayaks to use as you wish. Bikes were available to use too. We used them most nights to bike down to the pass for a sunset drink and to watch the dolphins. Would stay here again if we come back to Rangiroa.
