Hotel & Spa Resort Järvisydän

The hotel is at a lovely area, beautiful nature. Although it has different options in terms of rooms, the buildings are on the old side and let down by lack of modern air conditioning. It was hot when we visited and that made sleeping difficult. The breakfast was quite limited. Certainly worth a visit if you’re looking for nature adventure.

I would not recommend this hotel. The customer service is absolutely horrible. It is really difficult to get hold of ANYONE by phone. No one answers and the waiting in line costs - but maybe that is the idea. Once you finally (maybe) get through to someone, they sound very irritated on the phone - for no reason as I was not rude to them. Also still waiting for money reimbursement for a cancelled massage, I am still "fighting" via email with them as they do not make the refund.. Hope to see my money some day. Do not trust this company..

We stayed in a villa 7.-9.3. The villa was very spacious and in a nice location. I especially liked those big windows. It was very nice that every room had own toilet and shower so there is privacy. Big balcony/terrace was amazing too. Cleanliness was ok, but one room had big spider web in it and it had been there for a long time. Also in one room faucet was leaking into the drawer. Windows were little dirty. Karaoke was missing in the villa when we arrived. It was promised on the website. We got that after all, thanks to the maintenance person! But you had to pay more to the Singa app if you wanted to sing more than 3 songs.. Website should be updated with correct information. TV can't be watched because there was no signal.. Lightning was inadequate, many lights had gone out. Also the lights shorted out once, but thanks again to the same maintenance person, who fixed that. Rooms didn't have blinds which is mandatory thing in my opinion. The villa wasn't quite worth of the high price. Customer service was a little incompetent, they were unsure about many things. The service was very variable as a whole. Breakfast and lunch were good, but dinner in the bistro was just average. There were missing ingredients. Food in the bistro menu isn't quite worth of the price. The spa was nice and cozy! Different kind of saunas and one main pool. Inside the spa temperature is very warm all the time and it is so nice. But locker rooms are way too small and narrow. Lockers are also too small, especially at the winter time when you have thick coat and more clothing etc. Five years ago Järvisydän was 5/5 experience, but some things have changed. Lots of the little things to pay attention to. But overall the environment was beautiful and this was a nice trip.

We have stayed here twice before, but this time we found the booking system confusing and misleading. We had an unpleasant surprise about the number of spa visits included in a longer visit. Overall, the resort seemed overpriced, and the Lakeside Villa we stayed in needs updating. The resort appears to have lost some of its appeal and atmosphere.

We visited the spa. The changing rooms and showers are really small, easily cramped. There were also some small tiles missing from the women's shower room. The spa itself I would recommed to people who love saunas. There are many different saunas, only a couple of pools. It is nice to have a short swim between saunas. The place has a special style interiors, but I don't recommend closer inspection. They haven't really payed any attention to details. All in all, if you like sauna, the spa is a good addition to your holiday.

We had forest suite with jacucci. It was quiet and nice place to stay. Especially liked own hot tube. We did not tried the spa, cause it cost extra and we read others reviews. We tried e-fatbikes, it was fun. But I missed gym, usually it basic on hotels. You shoud do that, because it is also rainy days in Finland. Breakfast was basic good and menu on Solitary was very good and expensive too, but once a lifetime experiment.
