Aditya Resort

We had the most incredible experience at Aditya for our honeymoon stay. The whole team at Aditya (especially Mr. Susil, the kitchen staff, and the spa staff) helped make this the best vacation! True, 5-star Sri Lankan hospitality can be experienced here from every individual you interact with. The location is incredibly serene as well, with a private beachfront with scenic views. Some highlights of the stay were the fresh and tasty food from the kitchen as well as the incredible ayurvedic couples massage through the in-house spa. The team at Aditya also helped arrange a beautiful, private beachside dinner for us, making our stay even more special. We will 100% be back here for our next visit to Sri Lanka!

We spent two weeks at this hotel in a pool suite and agree with other reviews that this is a splendid hotel. Do not be put off by the very unimpressive entrance off the main road. Once you reach the hotel everything is very well laid out and maintained. Our villa Shakti (they do not have room numbers) had a reception area with very comfortable seats and a mini kitchen including a full sized fridge well stocked with drinks. The main bedroom area was very spacious with a large sitting area leading onto a large patio with no fewer than ten different seats incluing two bean bags on the patio and two sun loungers in the garden area. The bathroom area was very large and well equipped. During the whiole stay the housekeeping team maintained a very high standard of cleaning and the garderners and pool staff attended everyday. We were on a half board package which we seemed best as we did not see any other restaurants nearby. The food and service were excellent for the whole stay. All in, a first class hotel and we will return.

This was our third stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. The friendliness and hospitality of the staff, impeccable cleanliness of the hotel, and unique designs of the rooms make us want to keep revisiting it. This time we came to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff went above and beyond to make our day memorable, decorating the room with candles, a delicious cake, tropical fruits and sweets, all complimentary of the hotel. We loved the private pool experience, which offered a beautiful view of the ocean. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. We always enjoy borrowing a book from the little library area, which has a wide variety of interesting books. Direct access to a scenic stretch of the beach is a plus!

This was truly a 5 star experience from beginning to end! From the warm welcome and efficient check in on arrival to the very spacious and luxurious suite and to the absolute superb food. We genuinely couldn't fault this hotel in any aspect at all, and we have traveled all over the world. This was a special treat for our 41st wedding anniversary and it didn't disappoint! The very professional team which seamlessly keep the Aditiya Resort running so efficiently are an absolute credit to their management and owners. You can tell when people genuinely love what they're doing and really do care about their customers/guests satisfaction. We will definitely visit again and are very happy to give Aditya Resort our 100% personal recommendation.

The best place to go if you go down south. The ambience, food, service and the overall experience is superb. Rooms are extraordinary superb. This is the 3rd time I visited and planning to go again soon. The best part about the hotel staff is, they go out of the way to cater your needs and makes sure you are satisfied 100% I have a 4 year old kid and they made sure that his food was made according to his taste as well. Their service is just out of this world

We chose this hotel for 4 days relaxation on the beach at the end of our busy trip. The pool area was well furnished and the pool and bar staff were very attentive, ensuring that your water glass was replenished and taking drinks or food orders. Life guards are also on duty. The beach was very empty while we were there, at this time of the year there is an under current which means that the beach shelves at the waters edge with a sand bank slightly further out. Swimming was only recommended in the mornings. The food was exceptional and the waiters were very helpful and friendly. The room was spotlessly clean with a large balcony and the bathroom was spacious. The spa staff are experienced and we enjoyed two massages while we were here.
